- I've been really vibing on @BANDMAID lately and I wanted to react to another song. I was really surprised by this song being an instrumental, but it was well worth the time!

Band-Maid always brings an ONSET of love, appreciation and happiness to their viewers. Why? Because they're so damn good -- good-natured, good-hearted, good-looking, and beyond good as writers, players and performers. Wow, right?! Thx, Walt!
This is the song that cemented my fanship for life. My first song was Freedom, that was the teaser, Onset set the hook and I don't want to wriggle free.
Excact same two songs and in the same order that hooked me to Band-Maid and made me a madiac for life.. 🤘😎
Yeah, that was Holy Shit!. This one cemented me as a Maidiac almost 3 years ago. I just had a feeling this is the band for me. And it is. Times 100. They do and play Everything I like. No other current band can say that. Awesome catalog of music that has only ascended over 10 years and has not let up one iota. Peace. 4.21
I found BAND-MAID and never felt the need to look further. I love nearly all music but they encapsulate everything I enjoy.

Transitions, transitins, transitions, they make or break a song and these ladies are the best it- really really are.
Everything that BM write is in service of the song ,to make the song the best it can be,,as you go through more songs you realise that 2nd verses are slightly different to the 1st,and thier songs never go the way your brain expects,thats the magic of BM,,if you react to ,Blooming MV,you will get my meaning,Great reaction Walt.
They tend to play sets of 2+ hours. Saiki the lead singer has had throat surgery in the past so they are careful of her voice. So, around mid-set they tend to play an instrumental (they have a few), then Miku (rhythm guitarist) takes lead vocals on a song (she normally has a lead vocal song per album) then Miku also does her infamous and hilarious "Magic Time" MC set. Then Saiki comes back on.
MISA on bass is famous for her 'pick tuck' technique. She can switch from pick to slap and back in a micro second by tucking the pick under her index finger. She never drops the pick.
Best hard rock band on the planet.

The Bass Player MISA plays with a pick and slaps in the same song and changes from one to the other very quickly!
From a radio interview - - (Chris): What amazed me most about your play style is the changing of picking to slapping, and then picking again so smoothly. Some bassists may throw their picks away to slap, but you use the same pick when you change from slapping to picking again, right?
(Misa): No, I don't throw my pick away. I have become better as I practiced. For the recent 2-3 years, I haven't lost any pick.
(Chris): Show me how.
(Misa): I keep the pick with my index finger and palm.
(Chris): Then you slap the bass with your thumb and middle finger? Can you show me how you play? (then Misa shows how)
(Misa): Because I've been practicing these days, I can change faster than ever.
(Chris): You are mixing them up! That's awesome!
(Misa): I think anybody can do it if you practice.

There’s not a better band out there today than Band-Maid. Great bands can excel at one niche. The Maids do everything. Keep listening and you’ll hear the sheer diversity of their music yet never a drop off in talent.
The first Band-Maid song I listened to was Onset. I said to myself, " Holy Moly, these girls rock the blank out. More, I need more. " 😮😏❤️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘
