    It is fortunate that so many parts of the 68-72 Nova and first gen Camaros are the same. I want to find a Nova of this vintage to mess with in my spare time.

    Good Job --- One of the Hardest rust repairs to do on Any Make of car, especially if No replacements panels are available. These How To videos are well received with the new car enthusiasts to get them started & stayin' in the hobby. Thank You for making them for All of us.

    I fear I have the same repair to do on my '69 Firebird. I hoped I could use the patch panels for a '69 Camaro. After seeing this video I'll be on the lookout for a deal on the dash panel. Keep up the good work!

    Good content. Not surprised about people flipping about the vin plate. They have no real comprehension about law or reality. I doubt that it is illegal anywhere. If it is going back on the same car how could it be wrong? Makes no sense.

    Love the video man keep it up! I recently bought a 68 Nova and your videos helped me a lot. Do you have any tips or advice for me? I got a SBC 350 and a TH350 going in it with a whole new wiring harness. I'm 22 years old so I still don't know much. Thanks!

    • @Shop209
      @Shop209  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ll be posting the wiring video for this car very soon. My best advice is try not to have car down for more than a few days. If it’s drivable try to drive it some while you work on it. That will keep you from getting discouraged. Thank you for watching.

    Nice work. I’m about to do the same thing. I was thinking of adding Vintage Air as well. Should I plan on replacing the whole dash, or do you think I could get away with cutting the existing (for the vent) and just do the panel.

    Didn't know how to send a question so I am doing it here. Sorry if I fouled it up. Just got my 5th Nova. Not 5 total lol, just the 5th time. 1972 with buckets in it. They are and care is all original. So my questions...I know I am getting older, and fatter, but the seats don't seem to move back very far, at least it isn't in my memory, I can barley get in the thing lol. Is this how they ar5e, or is something not correct do you think? thanks for your time

    • @Shop209
      @Shop209  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds like it’s original. I’m 6’1 and they just aren’t that far back. I can get a measurement for you. Mine are original too.

    • @davsmth41
      @davsmth41 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Shop209 I will wait you don’t need to measure. Car looks great but hiding a lot of little issues I am working through. Was funny, I only took it for short test drive. Didn’t realize until I was on the highway in pouring rain the windshield leaks like it’s not there and it has 4:56 gears. Yea white knuckle 2 hour drive home at 50 mpg lol. Thanks for answering and for having a Nova channel

    Hey John, what's going on? I got a quick question? I was looking at a nova, I guess. Maybe? It was a 68 or 9. My question is the quarter windows? I have a 72 Nova. I went to roll the back quarter window all the way down , But it does not roll all the way down into the quarter panel do some of the different year novas from 68 to 74 to the quarter Windows roll all the way down or not?

    • @Shop209
      @Shop209  ปีที่แล้ว

      All of the 68-74 quarter windows roll down UNLESS they have been changed out with a new reproduction channel and slide. Those won’t roll down from what I understand.

    • @texasgarage145
      @texasgarage145 ปีที่แล้ว
