The way you fluidized the animation with each Sprite movement and even with the references of the franchise make you one of the underdog great animators. Keep going, pal.

Funny is, a few months ago I've started making character-mods for Super Smash Bros. Crusade and CMC+. I made Scorpion, Reptile, Mileena and Shao Kahn for both games and I'm not done yet :D
There's a couple of ways, but a really good source is Mortal Kombat Warehouse for the MK characters which has sprites from all the earlier games and even newer ones to an extent. Spriter's Resource is another good one for all other games! Not sure if you're familiar with MUGEN, but you can save the sprites from characters that are made for that engine as well. Hope this Helps!

Thank you! The majority of it is made in Adobe Animate for the sprite animation but I also I used After Effects for the UI elements
