I did 3 sessions and they really helped my skin and especially my deep acne marks you just have to trust the process. but we all have different skin types and it may not work for everyone but it did for me! i’ve also done chemical peels and I don’t really see a difference just makes my skin baby smooth after I peel! i’ve gotten microdermabrasion as well and that just helps to get rid of the top layer of the skin also making my skin feel soft !

I struggled with the the same thing. Went to dermatologist and tried creams and treatments. It worked for some time and went back to were I started.
I then decided to use chlorophyll (add to my water) and drink carrot juice. This is what saved my face. You might not ever see my comment, but I hope you do and give it a try. ❤️❤️

I PRAY YOU SEE THIA COMMENT!!!! Girllllllll I STRUGGLED with acne for YEARS I tried all the home remedies, the vitamins, drinking more water anything you could think of I tried lol. Until I went to my amazing dermatologist, he gave me the same exact treatment you were given unfortunately for me it wasn’t enough I was SCARED to try accurate because just like you I’ve herd really bad things but I was so over living with my acne. I got on accurate and was on it for a year and thank god I did because it is something that I would recommend to anyone with cystic acne. My face has never been so clear! I am left with some acne scars since the acne was so deep in my skin but no breakouts nothing, I hope this current routine works for you and if not I 100% trying accutane. You got this girl! Good luck ❤️❤️

I had the exact same treatment from my dermatologist. Same antibiotics and topicals you got and was also recommended to keep skincare simple and use gentle cleansers only. I personally went with cetaphil.
And Girllll let me give you hope bc it was the solution to my skin problems. I was suffering from the same type of acne after pregnancy about a couple years ago. Just stay consistent with the treatment, wear SPF and eat healthy, drink plenty of water and cut out sugars and alcohol as much as possible. You will see results within a couple weeks.
I promise you it will get better. Stay positive 🌤️

I’m on the same routine !!!!! Omg I’ve had acne since I was 11 🫠 and I understand the struggle . I’ve been on this routine since October , I’ve notice a slight difference, I still break out but not as bad & the acne scars are still there but it looks way better 🥹 then it was in October !!! I go back in January, for a checkup & if it’s not making progress she’ll prescribe me for accutane . I’ve cried so much over my skin , not wanting to go out in public settings and hiding behind makeup and pimple patches , I understand the pain that it can bring to your self confidence. I hope this routine helps both of us elsy!!!

Omg elsy I feel you, adult acne is the worst. I cut out a lot of dairy in my diet and some breads and I try to limit my chocolate. I refused to take medication as well and jumped on curology for about 3 months and it helped soooo much, what people don’t tell you is that on curology or anything new your skin purges for about 2 months before it clears so trust the process. Another big bonus for me that I seen was when I took out my birth control! My acne completely went away, I’m just dealing with my scars right now. I hope this info can help a bit. Praying for a fast healing for your skin❤

Omg elsy thank you for posting this ! I’m 22 and I took doxy when I was 15-17. My skin literally messed up my life, I used to break out so bad to the point where I would skip school because I felt so ugly. I’m older now and now have decent skin. Dox worked sooo good for me, the only downside that WAS MY fault, was that it made my hair fall out because I took it for almost 2 years straight. Now I stick to taking vitamin b5 for my acne and stick to a gentle moisturizing skin care routine my acne hasn’t been the same since!!

I went through this in 2020. Saw a dermatologist and tried 2 diff antibiotics but I couldn’t handle them. I felt so nauseous all the time I had to stop. I started using PanOxyl face wash and Differin acne gel . These both helped me so much. Fast forward to now, I’m back in the same spot. I have acne laser treatments scheduled , I’m hoping those work. GIRL!!! you need to try Spironolactone! I was going to go on accutane and they recommended me that instead. And it has helped so much! I’ve been on it for 2 1/2 months. They say it takes 3 months for the full effect and my skin looks so much better. I had got crazy acne out of no where. I thought it was just stress, I never had clear skin, but I never had it bad like that! It took maybe 2 weeks to see a change. But no side effects or anything negative to say about it. Also they put me on adapalene gel which is better than tretinoin because there is no purging or risk of side effects besides getting dry skin. So try those two things if the ones prescribed don’t work out! Good luck ❤

Love the video and happy your getting treatment!! I am medical assistant in dermatology and since you haven’t been on any oral medication doxycycline is a good first option, but should not be taken for months 😭 common misconception is that accutane is not safe- which in my opinion is safer than antibiotics. Accutane is just a very high dose of vitamin A. We love accutane and have soooo many patients on it. Almost all patients only experience dry and sensitive skin as their side effects. Can’t wait to see your progress 😁

Elsy, you are so beautiful inside & out! 🩷 I used to have really bad acne & cry everyday about it & avoid going out because I was so embarrassed, but I’ve found what works for me & keeps me clear!
I was on those antibiotics for years (I always had a stomach ache from them :( ) & when my skin started to clear up they lowered the dose little by little & eventually I stopped taking them.
I currently use la roche posay acne wash, clarifying solution, & double repair moisturizer it keeps my skin clear.
I also use special towels that are only for my face when I wash my face & wash my pillow cases every week.
To keep inflammation down I take turmeric shots everyday & avoid the top 3 inflammatory food (dairy, gluten, & sugar).
    Hope this helps! 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Elsy you are not alone. Trust me😭 I had hormonal acne and i had acne scars just like you have right now but I drank celery juice (put oranges, apples, celery, and cucumbers into a juicer & drink it every day) & it helped clear my acne in just a few months! I also tried doing laser treatment on my acne but didn’t see any differences. I also got the same micro needle facial & noticed that it made my acne WORSE💔 But I also started using Panoxyl & it helped clear my acne! So I recommend trying Panoxyl and drinking celery juice!! I have acne prone skin but my acne cleared in less than a year! Hope your skin gets better soon!

Micorneedling is to minimize pores not acne 🥴 bc the needles are poking you to make new skin & it help collagen so helps with wrinkles too.

I used to have really extreme acne when I was in my early 20’s and I tried everything. The only thing that worked for me was washing my face with Cetaphil face wash and COOLA Sunscreen Moisturizer. Been using for years since and my acne cleared up tremendously!

Girl I feel you with this acne journey, nothing is helping and I do not want to touch accutane.
Learn to love it because I am pretty sure acne on the cheeks is hormonal. I have it on my cheeks severely.
I love you don’t let this bring you down pretty🤍

Something that really helped me was 100% tea tree oil! How you described ur acne sounds similar to mine too. Also on my cheeks. I would get it from Trader Joe’s and w a qtip just dab some on. Out of everything I used for acne that helped the most. With scarring too! I also just strictly stick to my basic cerave face wash and moisturizer, that’s it. Being acne prone is so hard mentally, But you got this girl! Hopefully this ones it!

Yes I’m on the same topical medication I take spirolactone pills twice a day. Please do an update ? Make sure the tretinoin you’re very careful
Not to put too much only a pea size & try to go twice a week & then work your way up to everyday so you don’t purge

When using the Tretinion make sure to only use it in the night and slather your face with moisturizer because it will make your face dry and peel and make sure to wear sunscreen the next morning and a little goes a long way! I hope you skin clears up🤍

My personal experience with doxy was.. eh. My skin completely cleared up and when I got off it my acne came back. Long story short, antibiotics are short term. They mess up your gut which leads to more skin problems. I will be trying tret next. Hopefully it all works out for you ❤

I have the same problem with my acne. I have very sensitive skin that anything breaks me out. I have been using Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser for Dry to normal sensitive skin. I love it it does not strips my skin. Then I also use their daily moisturizer for dry skin with 15spf. This has been working out for me.

My daughter got on the IUD she got acne like you. Ones she switched it went away. Also she washed her face obviously. But for me her family. I use the nutrogena acne stress the liquid. Every time you clean your face wipe it with a cotton swab. It does miracles. I family tried what you’re saying.Only that help. You should try it

I started having acne nearing 30!!! I get a little on my shoulders sometimes but mainly my cheeks and chin. My naturopath is who helped me but all that’s been done is that I have less acne, still have the acne.

I suffered from cystic acne (definitely the pimples under the skin) and after 2 years I finally went to a dermatologist and got prescribed that whole routine. For MY skin it worked, I have no active acne just a bit of scarring! I stopped the antibiotics I think 6 months after. My skin didn’t react when I got off it and I didn’t even have to be on anything topical after either, however my dermatologist did say I can stay on the clindamycin for morning & tretinoin for nights. Just to feel good about having a skincare routine. I only switched my routine up, once when I was pregnant which was switch to azelaic acid cream at night. But after I was back to tret, and no breakouts. Every skin of course is different, but don’t be afraid to try it. If it doesn’t work for you, there’s always something that will! It’s a journey, but you got this love! You’re beautiful 🤍🤍.

Omg this was so damn helpful finally i dont feel alone in this world . Me too , i mever had bad skin before my pregnancy and after i had my child lord it is so hard to keep a clear skin , it could be stress as well and diet but also like if you are going to menstruate . But hormones are also adjusting and it takes a long time for them to adjust . And if you are on a birth control maybe your body is reacting to it . Me myself have never gotten on birth control . But lord i hope things get better for you 🥹❤️i love you watching your videos , ❤️🥹

Are you changing your pillow cases everyday? Are you drying your face with the same towel everyday? That makes a difference. Change your pillowcase and when you cleanse your face use paper towels. Also try taking probiotics to help your digestion.
I was on accutane for 1 month and it fucked me up! They had to get me off emergency because it was messing with my insides. I started probiotic vitamins and started using niacinamide serum which helps kill bacteria and its anti aging and im grateful i cleared up. I had acne all over my face. Like every spot
