Thanks for being here. I appreciate it. As I mentioned at the end of the review, the model that I have is no longer available. But, check out, if you are interested, the 590 9-Shot - www.mossberg.com/590-9-shot-50699.html.
Appreciate that. Good to have you with me once again. As I get older, the 20-gauge is my chosen shotgun. My second favorite shotgun is the 12-guage pump, but stoked with mini-shells; Lighter in felt recoil, less noise, less muzzle blast - and I don;t have t put on "Depends" when lighting off a high-powered slug round.I have a review of my now favorite home defense shotgun coming out in the future. I hope that you can watch that review.
Interesting and complete review, I didn’t know you shoot shotguns left-handed, but handguns right,,,,I’m left handed all the time. Due to pacemaker no longer shoot rifles or shotguns, miss them a lot as I used to shoot Trap an Skeet every week years ago, Thanks
Thanks for joining me again. Ayup! A never-healed broken right clavicle negate the shooting of long guns on my right side, except for maybe a .22/.22 magnum. Had to switch to left-side out of necessity. I actually find shooting long guns easier on my left side as my strong hand takes care of things like re-loading, operating a bolt, pumping a handle, etc. I know that you do miss shooting long guns. I could shoot trap half-way decent but never became proficient with skeet-shooting; never could get the follow-through down. I don't enjoy shooting a 12-gauge any more, or high-powered rifles for that matter. The 7.62x39mm is about my limit these days, although I have shot .308 out of my AR-10 with no problems - very soft recoiling as compared to a bolt gun. Shooting high-powered handguns like the .44 magnum and above? No way! Not anymore.
I really like that Tactical 20ga. I may have to try this one out 😊
