- What you're basically doing, is deleting your old license on the PC, then installing the license to the new one. Not too hard!

idk if u use this act anymore but thank u bro
Thank you for this i plan to get a new computer soon.
No problem! It is not really a BAD thing if you don't remove the license registration anymore, because the way FL Studio set up the registration process to be confirmed from your E-mail Account. It prevents piracy. That was their main concern. But best to be safe! ^_^
Very helpful thanks
Glad it helped ^_^
Dashie?
So, we all thinking the sane thing, right?
"Is this Dashie's brother?" lmao
why did i think this was dashie games in the first frew mins of the vid
Well idk the password
How to transfer to mac
Thanks, Justin. Appreciate all the hard work you do to teach us.
Thanks =]
no problem man
on the other hand this video helped
Whag about all the vsts?
Descripción en español y audio en inglés!?????
Sí, creo los subtítulos en inglés, por lo que TH-cam los traduce automáticamente al español. Espero que la traducción sea precisa! ^_^
0:14 “ People axe about this”
Anshuman Dixit lmao he really forced himself to say it
Also is this all related to if I have a plug in such as Omnisphere?
Omnisphere is it's own program, so it's files will be saved somewhere separate. Are you moving your whole studio setup into a new computer? If so, check the video that I've made here: th-cam.com/video/66O2LVC8h7I/w-d-xo.html
Do your projects go to the new computer as well
This still works?
Is anything different if I’m trying to transfer flstudio 20 from my PC to my Macbook?
Nah not really, but...
If you have saved recorded files in the old computer from FL Studio, you can search for those folders by right clicking the "recorded" folder and opening it as an explorer file, then dragging them all into a hard drive, and plugging it into the Mac's Directory.
I do want to also note, this video is pretty old. You no longer have to use a downloaded license key, but instead, IN FL Studio, you can unlock the product by going to the "about" option under the Help Tab, open the unlock panel, and use your E-mail to unlock it.
will i be able to have fl studio on multiple computers without buying them again if i do this?
not many can explain stuff as good as you... earned a sub
WHATS UP, IT'S DASHHIIIEE!!!
what abt arcade
bro looks high af🤣

i lost my laptop i was using fl studio 20 now i have a new laptop i have download fl studio 21 how can i find those project i had in fl studio 20 ?
Unfortunately, if you do not have any of the project files from your old computer's hard drive, it won't be recoverable.
I guess in the future, you can back up your projects to an External Hard Drive, or on a cloud service like Google Drive.
U look like DashieGames
Does deleting flstudio from the one computer also delete the files created on Flstudio on that computer?
If you're speaking about Deleting the FL Studio folder from the C Drive, then YES: The Preset files, Saved Recorded files, Sliced Samples, and Rendered audio all are in that folder, and would be deleted.
If you're speaking about .flp or .zip files, then it depends on WHERE you are saving those project files. If the project files are saved in the the FL Studio Folder in the C Drive ( I hope it's not ) then deleting that folder will remove them.
If you have the saved projects outside of that C Drive Folder, then Uninstalling and Deleting the FL Studio folder from the C Drive should not delete your old projects... BUT!!!!!
If you've saved your projects as .flp files, and those projects had recorded audio, then YES, YOU WILL LOSE THOSE AUDIO FILES.
So, it would be best to take ALL of your project files, and save them as .zip files, to prevent that incident from occurring.
If you want to be SUPER Safe, then save a backup of the Image-Line folder from the C Drive, as well as from your Documents, into a backup External Hard Drive or Storage device.
@@OmoiSenpai I'm just going to put all the files on a USB drive to make this simpler then delete the program. I'm actually moving my FLstudio from my old barely functioning toshiba to my macbook
@@OmoiSenpai Turns out the toshiba is dead actually...... Seems im going to have to try to recover everything from the hard drive.
what if you didnt bought fl studio?
Thanks for the info without all the extra nonsense. Much appreciated.
Want your hat.
I have fl studio on pc but can i with my fl acount also put it on a laptop so i can work when i am not home . So on pc and laptop
Hey, yes you can. As long as the license is owned by you, and the devices that you're using it on is yours, you should be good.
Here is a link more about it: www.image-line.com/faq/can-i-install-your-software-fl-studio-on-multiple-computers/#:~:text=You%20are%20the%20only%20person,you%20are%20the%20only%20user.
@@OmoiSenpai thank you for the info . I am lot on the road for work and its nice to work then 2 on music .
none of this is necessary just install the demo on your new comp and sign-in with email via help>about and FL will restart in whatever version you previously purchased
Do you know this by experience?I wanna be sure yaknow

If I install FL studio on a different laptop how do I get my projects and my drums?
@@jhdagreat1673 like anything else place the original file on a drive and install with that
@@gregoryvarnam1088 alright thank you bro 🙏

what about if i stole it? Hypothetical of course.
You would have to steal it again in that case. Hypotethically speaking.
dose this work when switching from a MAC computer to a Windows computer? Do you project still open?
broo i thought you were dashie xp woah
I used to get that often x)
Glad the video helped you!
does transfering the license also transfer the projects?
That’s what I’m tryna figure out
Can you do a video on how to transfer Vst’s Like Omnisphere ect.
does this still work?
hey bro so ive tried this but its asking me for a 20 digit serial key which I don't have because im in a different country with a different laptop, please do you have any way how to get around this !
Hey!
Image-Line's way of installing the license is no longer required to use the serial key. You can simply activate it by logging into your account now when you go to the "about" under the Help tab in the program.
super late to this vid, but im tryna put FL on a USB so i can plug it into whatever computer i may be near/using & just open FL from there on the USB? anyone know if this is possible? & if so the proper way to do so, pls & thx!
I really need help y'all, I had Fl on my Mac but for some reason it shut down and won't turn back on. All the tracks I produced are stuck on Fl on my old computer. Is there any way I can retrieve my files on FL Studio?
Yes. It should be possible to connect your hard drive of your broke Mac to a working computer with the right cable.
Thank you so much. What cable do need to use for this?
@@smsstyles1159 USB to SATA cable. You have to remove the hard drive from your Mac and see how many pins the SATA cable needs. Sorry for the late reaction btw. Forgot it and now I was cleaning up my closet and came across a USB to SATA cable. Cuz I had the same problem in the past. You can have mine but I suppose you don't live anywhere close to The Netherlands haha. Good luck!
Will Fl be on both studios
Computers *
If you install them on both PC's then yep.
can I transfer it from a mac computer to a windows computer?
I’m trying to find out the same thing if you already know the answer by now please tell me!!!
PLEASE HELP ME!!! so i bought the fl studio version but i dont have a account... so if i make a account and then sign up will i have the demo version orr the full version like i have now??
you looks like de la soul)
Much love homie🙌🏻
So you can't have a (licenced) version of fl studio on two computers? What if I want fl on my dekstop computer and on my laptop? Or on a laptop and on a mac?
You Are able to have it on a PC and a Laptop yep! Their only concern is that you use it on your User Account Only.
@@OmoiSenpai
Do you have a video on how to do that?
Justin you need to hit the gym
I can’t access the email that I
Used to purchase fl studio 66. I think I know the password but when I try to sign into my account it says it sent a verification code to my email address but I can’t access that email address. I think yahoo deleted it after 12 months of inactivity cuz it’s not recognising it. This is so annoying because I have to studios on my old computer but I want to download it on my new laptop but I can’t cuz I can’t sign in. Can anyone help. Can I change the email registered through fl studios ?
How Will my plugins and vsts i bought go?
Is someone going to answer this question?
We need this answered !!!
Yea fr someone answer
Find where the vst’s are downloaded and move the vst’s to your new computer. If you scan for vst’s in fl on the new computer it should find them and if you have all the files for them it should work you might just have to verify some.
@@philwalz5670 thank u...😌😌😎
Like your videos cause they’re straight to the point not no bull shit
Will this work for mpc software
will fl studio work on my old laptop too??
will it move my project files too? from one to the other ?
If your project files are saved in the same directory as the files that are being moved, then yeah it will be there too.
But if your project files are saved elsewhere ( like on the desktop, or documents etc. ) Then nah. You would have to move the files as well.
how can i transfer the wavs in the projects its loading the files but plugins an wavs are missing on the new laptop
hoodrich franco did you ever find out
When we download FL studio on to our new laptop/computer, will our songs or FLP's also be on the FL account, or will that depend on where we save our song files?
Great question I need an answer for
you ever find anything?@@mroctober3583
Thank You!!!!
Just got a new MacBook Pro, so can I transfer my fl files from my old computer to MacBook?
Same here
Same aswell
What if I don’t still have my fl studio box and serial number can I still transfer it over to my new computer? Or do I have to find my serial numbers
Hey! You most likely have the key on your Image-Line account, or if you know your E-mail for the IL account, you can put that in when you transfer it to the new PC. Make sure to unregister it from the original PC first though, just incase!
how u do it with trial version?
Thank you for helping me out bro!
I did everything in this video and it still says I need to unlock it 😅 Is there a solution for that ??
I like the video and explanations you can add FL to pro tools 10 THNX 4 U
What if my computer with fl studio doesn't start anymore ? any way to transfer it online ?
Does this apply for moving it to another hard drive
Hello, can anyone told me if i can use fl studio in two PC i want to buy and also i want to share with my brother im waiting for a reponse thank you!
Does this still work?
What about the plugins? 😕
YOUP! ...(BIG GULP!!) *sigh*............ nigga i know Dashie when i see him
What if I dont have access to my old computer that had it?
stupidass question
The video was saying that you need your original computer with your FL studio on to deactivate it from that computer, so that you can then activate your FL studio on a new computer. As my original computer was broke I had no access the computer to deactivate my FL studio.
No solution for that had been explained. It turns out anyway that you don't even need to do this prossess, as long as you just sign in on your new computer you can activate your FL studio.
Hope that clears everything for you MLG R8DR805
What about if my old computer broke and I just bought a new one how do I do it from there
You could take out the old Hard Drive, and put it into the new computer and pull out the data from it.
@@OmoiSenpai lmaoo I crushed it and threw it away any way around it I just want to put flstudio on my new laptop cuase I heard if you log in again they sometimes take your account away ?
@@OmoiSenpai I know my account email and stuff
Sound just like my cousin with the crushing part lol.
Well Shii. Yeah oyu can do the usual logging in. If you want to be safe though, See to E-mail Image-line. I doubt that they care about 1 person re-using their license just 1 time, but just in case some bullshit happens, E-mail em and see what's up!
@@OmoiSenpai yeah I had relogged in and it worked thanks bro
can re download it back on your old computer?
What means fl studio portable ?
Is there a way you could hook me up with the full version of fl studio?
Sorry yo! The one I got I bought, and I'm not at a level where I can get or give ppl FL Studio Versions. I don't think that's possible actually.
Ryan Dass buy it.
You could always use a Keygen passcode to bypass the authentication process of the program
Ryan Dass I can help you out. I can email you the registry key and it’ll turn any demo fl studio to producer version. Send me your email and I’ll send it right away

do u have to have the real version of fl or can u just have the trial version cause ion got money for that shit
Hey brother I'm fresh with fl studio I was wondering if my projects will transfer as well or will I have to export them and all that stuff
Yo. I'm wanting to Buy fl studio. If I do is there a digital down load? My laptop doesn't have a CD Rom.
Hey, yep! on Image-Line.com ( Their Website, you can go to the shop tab and buy one there!
I have a question & im hoping you see this & can help. I assume my situation is different than most people that came across this video.
I have 3 years of unreleased recordings on my laptop, FL studio 12. my laptop is currently on LIFE SUPPORT & im looking to back up all my files before it dies... i got my FL key from a friend that used to have FL studio 12, years ago. I didn't pay for any of it. is it possible for me to back up the actual software along with the key onto my USB memory stick & transfer everything onto a new computer once I get a new one? I'm more worried about losing my key cause then i might have to just buy everything all together but honestly i don't know much about the process. PLEASE RESPOND.
Damn looking for same answer
I tried to install it but it still gives me the Demo version why is that so
I've got all the resources need but still I don't get the full version
What about on Mac I.T didn’t work I went on my other computer and I.T didn’t work

If you already have the windows version bought do you need to buy the Mac OS version too if you’re moving to Mac OS or does it just work like that? Cause that would really suck if you need to buy the Mac OS version too... 🙄
