3:11 “but this is tom’s” really goes to show what a great guy he is. even when he is being presented with the very thing he’s dreamed about for decades, his first response is to think of other people.
That's not true. In the Grinch, the town of Whoville realize at the end of the movie that presents and consumerism isn't what Christmas is about, but family and loved ones.
The whole town of Dukesberry had became worn and weary from enduring 20 years of Davey's crap. Therefore they all became grinchy and unappreciative to the small and important things that were easy to overlook. But after Davey changed for the town to see and confessed his erraneous ways and helped everyone else understand they had been in the wrong overlooking Whitey and pushing him to the curb, they changed too.
Every time I see the part where Whitey tells the mall that he finally opened his eyes and realized that nobody cares about him, I felt bad for Whitey. The guy gave over 50 years of service to his community and all they've ever done to thank him was take advantage of him, Mocked and or laughed at him either to his face or behind his back, and just generally treated him like crap. In fact it's because of all that, I wouldn't have blamed Whitey if he did move to another town where nobody knew who he was. Because not only would that give people a reason not to acknowledge Whitey but it also would've given Whitey a fresh start and a chance to re-invent himself.
for real, they either laughed in Whitey's face or ruthlessly made fun of his feet or voice or shortness or his sister when he wasn't looking so disappointing
@@KiryuMythic True, But you're actually never too old to get a fresh start. Why some people even think of death as fresh start because you know the afterlife and all that.
Davey already made the town feel like shit after getting them to realize how awful they treated Whitey but they must feel so, so terrible upon hearing Whitey’s pain-filled words to the mall. “At least then they’d have a reason not to acknowledge me.” That right there would break my heart. 😔
I get that Whitey talking to the mall is almost analogous to having a prayer with God, but why did they go with the mall being this place of sanctuary with all the product placement?
Davey might’ve been an absolute piece of garbage who treated everyone like crap but you know what the town isn’t any better to whitey until the ending. The dude busted his ass for thirty five years for his community, and didn’t get any recognition for it. I’m glad he ended up getting the patch he deserved because the whole town neglected him.

That’s the big difference between this movie and Grinch: It’s not just Davey that needs to change his ways overnight, it’s the whole damn town

@LoonzeeToons007That's also in the original

He doesn't have much time left to start fresh. He's so old

I love the part at the end where he thanks everyone individually. Showing while the community never thanked him until now he still remembers everyone
And by their names too! He likely has memorized the name of every member of the community! The dude is on a next level of kindness!
ngl elenore had the best roasts "what he do steal beer for everyone"
“Now go live happily ever after or I’ll drop kick the teeth out of your mouth”
Love it
"Thanks Whitey, and I'll pretend I never heard you say that."
“Appreciate it.”
5:19 this is the happiest seizure of my life
See I told you

That’s how I felt when I at last got my driver’s license but I didn’t really have a seizure lol

It’s Another Whitey is not on soundtrack and music is beautiful.
"it's your moment Whitey"
*holey shit did the mall just say something?*

Bro, that happy seizure killed me😂😂😂
0:31 Perfect opportunity for the Mean One
How did all those people get into the mall when the parking lot was empty?
They took a bus.

I want to see this remade as a live action

It says "Number two”
The heck is that a triple boba woman?
3:30 😮 🏀🏀🏀
I'm pretty sure the dude who does the old guy is the same guy who voices Carl off of Jimmy Newton. Literally sounds the same but more whiny.
It's Adam Sandler.
For as bad as the movie was, it had its moments
Whitey a well one
Bro 3 jungaloos 👀
What did I just watch
That many people. No cars.
They probably took a bus.
Yeah... this movie fuckin sucks.
