Loving mine so far. Hope you get the rev trigger worked out. Mine seems to engage pretty easily. Thanks for experimenting on 3S so the rest of us don't have to!
For $50 it’s almost perfect. Great darts, decent ROF, the FPS that compares with a Nightingale with less voltage, also a better lower pitch, comes with a LiPO, 2x proper mags, nice added thumb screw. Don’t know who was asking for that kind of rev trigger. Not a fan of that particular design.
There is a pin holding that rev trigger in being held in by a screw. From there you can check to see if something is broken or out of place. You'll even be able to see if the switch is out of place. There should be one of those lever springs too (it's retained so don't worry about it getting lost)
Yeah, I took it apart immediately after finishing the review and put it back together. Didn't notice anything wrong and it didn't fix anything. It requires way too much force to rev. At this point I'm thinking the switch just requires extra force to engage.
This happens because you tried to fire the pistol without the rev trigger being fully engaged. If you push the trigger all the way forward and engage the rev, you should notice that the rev is significantly smoother.
That rev trigger issue you addressed near the end isn’t what I’ve experienced. The one I got allows it to rev by pressing the bottom of that dovetail switch. Something might be misaligned.
Mine didn't rev at all out of the box, so I was going to just return it but decided to fully open it up, but I didn't really pay attention to how the spring in the back of the grip was initially installed but I confirmed that the actual switch inside was fully functional. And when putting it back together I removed (by accident) the secondary trigger lock and reassembled the blaster, making sure to put the spring in the rev trigger area in correctly and my blaster now works flawlessly
I love the video very informative, i was excited about this blaster since it was announced, so this video has helped me confirm that i want to purchase this blaster👍
I've gotten two of these. One of them had the revving issue but not the second one. It does seem to be a QC issue but I gotta tell you, the blaster is so much fun when you get a good one
@Naptown Nerf, Right out of the box, I had the same rev trigger problem and obviously having to figure out a way to move your hand up to rev is not acceptable. I took just the rev trigger off and re-seated the spring and it worked well for a bit, seems to revert back to needing to push up after a while... Awesome blaster otherwise.
Initially I was having the same issue with the Rev trigger. However, I took the entire Blaster apart to paint and when I put it back together I was no longer having that issue. I think it's something about the way the Rev trigger gets stuck on itself sometimes and just by pulling it off and putting it back on. It seems to have fixed the issue
So what happends is I found if you pull the trigger before you rev youll get a crunchy feel and it will fire. This is because of the rev lock, like the stryfe has so I removed it. Its a round piece over the trigger. Careful after all the screws are off there is a clamp somewhere. O couldnt find it but I was able to open the shell enough to use a flathead screwdriver to pop out the lock
It's excellent, and I'm strongly considering a second, but I can't in good conscience give best blaster '24 to the venom over something like the nexus pro x or Stryker 2.0. There's a chance the Maxim takes it, but I'm leery of QC issues given how the omnia came out of the gate. The sender could have been a contender if not for the QC issues (and if it would have included an XT connector).
I'll say, to your point, my rev trigger isn't facing that issue. It's pretty excellent, to the point where I actually like it, and wasn't wholly expecting to.
Looks good. Personally I don't see a reason to replace my nightingale but it's definitely a great option and seems to be mostly better than the nightingale (if only a little). Tbh that back strap grip Rev trigger seems like a bad design to me - I'm not sure why you wouldn't do a 2-stage trigger or an old-school secondary trigger under the main trigger. This is one of your first vids that I've watched since the pandemic. Good to see you back
I bought a nightingale and sold it a few months later. The pitch was so extreme that it scares my dogs. I also have hearing issues so I found it obnoxiously high pitched. The nightingale has a higher quality parts, especially the shell. So I imagine the Nightingale would be more durable, comfortable, and long lasting.
Im on the fence about the venom pro. I dont like where the rev trigger is. I also saw another video where they tested a 3s lipo in it and it didn't get to 150 it was an average of 145. The sender starts out at 150 on aas meaning a lipo swap will kick the venom out of the water. I also like the way the sender is built and its shape. I have a sender and i didn't have any problems that everyone else seems to be having. I might still get the venom i dont know yet.
It totally sucks that your rev switch doesn’t work. I haven’t seen anyone else have issues though, and mine works perfectly out of the box, so hopefully you did just get a lemon
Wow, your rev trigger is bad. I have 2 and they are very sensitive. As soon as you place your hand on the grip it will rev. See if you can get a replacement soon.
Amazing. Love the lemon squeeze style rev on it. This is the blaster that got me back into foam flinging after being off for years

@@NaptownNerfnope. Return it and get another one. It should be better.

i took my squeeze cover off and filed all the rough edges down. it's a very smooth grip now!
I bought two and one of them had this issue. Returned to store for another that was fine.

Super Awesome review. This looks like a fantastic sidearm. Keep up the great work.

No issues with my venom pro. Thank you for the video. Take care.
Good to hear

Hi, could you tell us where to get that net/case thing that catches your darts?

neat. id prefer a beaver tail style rev, but some commenters are saying theres is fine
That rev trigger is a big reason why I don't care for mine. Hope someone can come up with a fix for it.
I think you got a lemon, my rev trigger is too responsive so I have to be careful with it.
Awesome review! When you did the chrono testing, the target you were shooting at that catches the darts, where can I find one of those?
amzn.to/3WKHY8r
Does an Aeon pro x mag fit in this?
Got mine today, returning it today because it wasn’t revving at all
Yeah, I had a feeling this would be an issue with more than just mine. At least mine does rev, you just have to press really hard.
I got lucky I guess cause mine is working flawlessly 👍🏻 🤞🏻
Any way you can get those shipped to the UK?
Same question, does anywhere ship these to UK? Might be worth doing a "group order" to take the sting out of that shipping fee
@@Bovrillor not a bad idea!
I hope my friend thats currently in the US can get me one. Cause getting them here in germamy is difficult to put it nicely

try the Venom out. you may not mind the Rev trigger. FPS isn't everything. 5 or 10 fps difference doesn't mean much.
@@dancarthen3634 i mean i love fps but i hear you. Also it would be a 20 plus fps difference between them.
cool but the barrel is so low relative the sights.
Bought 2, 1 had the rev issue

Target link is dead, did you get yours local?
Yes, I found it in store.
Link should be fixed
lol have seen u doun#ble shot since the stampede icon
That’s a definite issue with your blaster. I bought two and o oh own of them was doing that. I returned it and got a better one.
You got a Lemon
That sux about your rev switch. Mine doesnt do that. I think u have a lemon.
I think you got a bad rev trigger. 😮

In 3s lipo can hit 150 fps
