@@MrKinglydude if you know how to play against it, it's not that bad. There's a reason the aren't many high elo otps, or why he isn't played in proplay at all.
You could say this about any decent split pusher
Obtain better macro, don't play illaoi into him (he's her biggest counter), play basically any other top lane champ (almost all of them beat him, especially after durability update and his recent double nerf), buy tabis and take 12% reduced damage from him from all sources (Q, Auto, Ghouls, and Maiden all get reduced, only E magic damage isn't).
Just pick Irelia, Kled, Riven, Tryndamere (if you lose with these 4 atm there's no helping you), Malphite, Ornn, Jax, Kayle, Shen, Urgot, Olaf, Camille, Renekton, Singed, Mordekaiser, Sett, Akshan, Garen, Fiora, Sion, Warwick, Yasuo, Volibear, Maokai, Yone, Gnar, Gwen, Nasus, or Gankplank. They're all favourable into him.
Don't pick Darius, Illaoi, Jayce, Kennen, or Vlad, and you'll be fine.
Champ is turbo garbage, especially after the nerfs he's the weakest he's ever been. 13.10 is probably a buff for him though.

You can dodge his E, you can reduce the damage of almost all of his kit with Tabis, you can kill all the ghouls with 4 auto attacks and also his Ult unlike other summoned pets has no resistance to any damage and he's a Cannon minion without ghouls and ult.
