No player in team sport history has “done it on their own.” It’s literally impossible and nonsensical.
MJ was amazing in his first 6 years, but his TEAM was 24-29 in Playoff GAMES 85-90. 1-9 without Pippen and under .500 in 5 seasons without Pippen.
That’s not bc MJ wasn’t amazing it’s bc TEAMS win games/titles not individual players.
MJ Wilt Hakeem LeBron Jerry West Big O Shaq all didn’t win a TEAM title in their first 6-13 years! That doesn’t mean they weren’t great it just means their TEAMS weren’t great enough yet!

As a fan of the game of basketball, As much how great Lebron is, ngl, he's one of the generational players. it's hard to imagine that there is someone or a couple of guys better than him and a more pleasing game to watch to go with it. @@HerbWashingtonETS btw, my life is absolutely fine, but I’ve played and seen enough basketball/players in my lifetime to have high standards for “greatness.”
In general, I subscribe to the belief that if one has ONLY seen or been part of just ONE era of pro basketball, one doesn’t have enough perspective to speak about “greatness” bc of the lack of historical perspective. There is nothing to compare to in personal experience. Stats, only which naive people depend on, does not tell the entire story of a players greatness. There is something about actually watching different players over time that gives one a more complete picture of a player’s stature and value. Then one can compare more soundly across eras.
I remember when the NBA/ABA merged (1976) and we got to see more of Dr. J, George Gervin, Moses Malone, Artis Gilmore, etc. That first season 7 out best 12 in MVP standings had come from the ABA. I remember the tail end of Wilt’s career. Kareem, Dave Cowens, Pistol Pete, Wes Unseld, Earl the Pearl, Hondo, McAdoo, Frazier, Dawkins breaking backboards, etc. made 70s basketball exciting for kids balling on the park courts!
I remember when Magic/Bird came into the league and added new fuel to the Lakers/Celtics rivalry and engaged fans for almost a decade… Bad Boy Pistons finishing off the 80s era winning 2 of 3 championship runs.
Jordan domination of the 90s… (no need to say more!).
Lakers and Spurs domination of the 2000s winning 5 of 6 and 4 of 4 championship runs respectively… great runs with Kobe/Shaq & Kobe/Gasol, with Shaq/Kobe Lakers being the last team to 3-peat… Duncan/Robinson, then Duncan/Ginnobili/Parker-led Spurs made basketball so enjoyable to watch.
2010s were mostly Warriors winning 3 of 5 championship runs, with other misc teams each winning one, with Big-3 led Miami being the only other team to win more (2 of 4).
Each era has highlighted formidable players… many for their GREATNESS, and many for being UNDERACHIEVERS. LeBron, unfortunately, falls into the latter category.

If you need to see the cold hard facts, don’t be lazy… google it.
Everything is at your fingertips, and, with as much effort as you put in to write “Proof?,” you can find it for yourself… you don’t have to take MY word for it… it is in the official records of the NBA, and won’t be difficult to get your answer.
Just like it shouldn’t be (if you have actually done it for yourself) a rigorous exercise discovering what player has scored the most career points.

Beating up on a team with your other two franchise player in tow doesn't make you competitive. It proves the gm's point

He went to Miami bcuz Kobe was winning chips , and he wasn’t , you put 3 franchise stats in their prime on the same team . Weak move . Cheating the game , and still got beat twice out of them 4 years . Bro playing 21 years and 4 chips to show . Losing finals record , astonishing how anyone considers him the goat .
