- With albuns ''Unbrekable (2007) '' and ''This Is Us (2009)'', the Backstreet Boys are back with former member Kevin Richardson
They did the 1st apparition after 2006 at Central Park in New York on August 31, 2012.
They proved to everyone that are the best Boyband all the time.
They did an amazing peformance and announced that the new album is ready and we will have a third cruise trip nex year.
I'm so sick of reading comments bashing Brians voice. The poor guy had swine flu a couple years ago and he's never made a full recovery. He does the best he can, and honestly, I don't care if his voice was a train wreck! He's still our Brian and I love him!

For those of who are bashing him. He did have the swine flu. It's a miracle he can still sing. I think there are worse things in this world to listen to.

I'm only 16 years old right now, but i grew up listening to their music. Well, that'd be a given since every member of our family is hooked up in their music too. Right now, I personally recognize and give my salute to this boy band. They certainly is one of the greatest. No matter how many artists and boy bands show up today or in the future, They will still remain the best and #1. BSB FIGHTING! ^_^
they can never match the talent of the Backstreet Boys! the talent or is stolen or bought! if this music, voice, dance and presence ... They are the best!!
I really hope they can win the grammys next year. They deserve to win at least 5 categories and if that happens it will be their first Grammy. It will be a historic moment.
Also I want a peformance to show everyone how they grow up, and how amazing they are, because I'm tired of always seeing Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift ..
I know what you mean, my friends laugh at me. Youre 36 yrs old and still love the BSB?? You know what. I am proud to be a fan. and ill never stop loving them. I work 50 hrs a week to go on the cruise but I really dont care what anyone thinks. My bf knows my love for them and actually told me.Screw what everybody thinks, follow your heart and go on the cruise. Their music has gotten me through so many ups and downs and I always knew they appreciate us, the fans as much as we appreciate them.(1)

I was there! I flew from Colorado to be there and had won the contest to be up towards the front, it was amazing!!! :)
This made me so happy. Wish I was there. I'm going on the cruise if I have to work everyday of my life until then.. My b/f just laughs when he sees happy they make me.. Kevin being back just makes me cry and I don't care what anyone thinks b/c then and there music has gotten through though times.. 20 years and being the biggest boy ban in history.. try that the new boy bands out now..

I don't care what anyone says... Brian's voice (as with all the other boys) was changing before he got swine flu. It was slight, but occasionally during the Never Gone and Unbreakable eras he'd not hit a note as perfect as he used to when he was younger. Then, he got swine flu in late 2009. That really caused his voice to deteriorate and that's why he's been struggling these past few years. He doesn't even sound right when he talks. It's a shame and I hope he recovers.

Brian had a Influenza A virus (H1N1) 3 years ago.. but if you compare his voice in that time and now..he's getting better,everyday his voice is getting better :) We just have to wait, and is not so bad :)

i hope it's just a bad day for brian because he sounds really croaky. AJ is holding up the fort for the boys though, they sound rather thin and nasal overall, so good thing they have AJ's gruffness! (though howie's my fav and he can do no wrong :P)

I know he had the swine flu, but I don't know if that is still causing his problem. I don't wanna sound mean cause I love Brian, but I don't know about that. I think he has gotten even worse over time. He doesn't even have good days here or bad days there. It's more like ok days and bad days. Even when he talks he sounds strain.
I completely agree. He can't even speak and he can't sustain any notes anymore while singing. I love the Backstreet Boys and I'll always be a fan (particularly of Brian), but I don't see how he's going to manage a world tour without his voice giving out entirely.
