No, mainly because I'm not really into boybands and personally I wouldn't necessarily know what to do with a boyband on the team, I think the other coaches would have a better chance with them than me. They're alright though.
This group is exactly why all schools need to have funding for the arts. Every child needs to have the opportunity to develop their talent.

I think that Jason guy would have given the boys some seriously cool moves. They need it. They already have good vocals. Sometimes this blocking system denies the talents the guidance they deserve.

For real though. A good point i saw is that the blocking system takes the attention away from the talents an more onto the judges, which is not the point of the show. The talents deserve the chance to choose their own coa h without blocks

The thing I enjoyed the most was watching these boys moms just over the moon !!!! Love seeing a parent so proud of their child.
As a woman in my 30s with a son who reminds me of these kids, during the intro I was like "Oh, these are some young awkward boys." But then they started performing and they were not only really good, they were also adorable and clearly dedicated to the art, both musically and choreographically. It's nice to see people pursue their passions creatively. Good job! Also, the coaches were clearly grooving to their childhood, as did I!

Midwest lady in United States. That's 40. I grew up on that music. And so remember all the boy bands from back in the day and this generation. This world needs a boy band. Most of all an Aussie boy band would be absolutely amazing!

More on 90s vibes. Larger than Life was released in September 1999 - it's turning 24 years next month. Very nostalgic as a fan of this boy band in the 90s!
@@MrGabzki : Yes, again, I say both 80s and 90s actually. The whole, boy band craze as we understand it today, started in the 80s and carried over into the 90s, as well.
I actually, went ahead and checked one of BSB's performances of this, and I was surprised to see that actually, they did not do it a hell of a lot better than these guys did, for all the criticisms of them so far. And yes, I'm pretty excited about them as well, all the more so after checking out their channel and seeing what they are ACTUALLY, capable of. I'm rooting for them big time, and hope to god, they win, as well. They seem to have pretty stiff competition. 😉🖐🏼😌

The Voice Australia should change the ruling and follow The Voice USA rules which you cannot blocked the coach that has already turned first.

I agree wholeheartedly. All the other voice shows make it fair by the judges are only able to block as they are turning so everyone has a fair shake.

Why do I feel like they wanted Jason as their original coach, and when he got blocked, they went with Guy because that is the other person who took the effort into doing what Jason did?

I love 1:48 beyond. Rita’s reaction at 1:54 and 2:10 is awesome. Like how did she know it was a boyband when they walked out and crowd cheered a little bit. Like it could be anyone the crowd is cheering for. I feel like Simon cowel should be shown this video in entirety and he’d see how talented they are and would instantly wanna get in contact with them and sign them to a huge record deal. Only he could make them hugely known like One direction was. Let’s get them known to the world they’re on the path to take the world by storm. Keep doing what you do Overnight cause the world deserves to know who you are. Also overnight would be perfect for season 12 of USA masked singer they should totally do it. 1:42 - Well, they STILL ARE cool in Asia, if anyone would bother to check into Asian pop music. But ya, it would be nice to see a revival of that here, in the West again. Always been a fan of boy bands myself. Always had a soft spot for cute, sexy, hot and talented young guys. 😁😘😌
Well, i think they meant western boy band. I mean, when you heard of boyband, you would think Backstreet Boys, Boyz ii Men, One Direction, and any western boyband group, right? You don't think of BTS or any K Pop Boyband, at least not all the time. Or rather, BTS and K Pop Boybands are their own category that can't be treated as the same category as the more iconic boybands like the ones i just mentioned.
@@joshuaamadeusishak1887 : Yes, I understand what was meant. I fully, understand. Once again, I'm attempting to get people to look a little deeper about things. The West and English Speaking Countries have this horrible attitude that nothing is worth bothering with unless it's from these countries or sung in English, at the very least. This attitude was crappy enough, when I was younger and we didn't have to same access to International Pop, but it's utterly, inexcusable today. I am saddened beyond words, about all the utterly, outstanding pop I missed out on, throughout the 80s, all because these groups and individuals never got any airplay in English Countries and on English Television. I'm only, discovering HOW MUCH, now that I have access to it, over TH-cam, here.
Basically, pop from the West, North America and Western Europe in particular, has been total and utter crap for almost, three, full, decades now. It's gone completely, into the gutter, overall. Because of this and the fact that the Asian Countries in particular, have KEPT, a HUGE VARIETY, of pop INCLUDING, Boybands, and pretty much, DOMINATE, modern pop music, means that anyone getting into this now, from English, Western, Nations have HUGE, HUGE, competition against them. The Boybands from Asia have REALLY, taken everything to the NEXT LEVEL, BIG TIME, so new Boybands now, from Western, English Speaking, Countries, have their job cut out big time, to rise to their level and hold their own with them today. I personally, LOVED, what these boys did here, but that will NOT, propel them to Super Stardom not in today's musical climate.
Now all that being said; I think it is high time, high time, indeed for modern pop of all sorts, to start moving AWAY, from rap and hip-hop now, as it truly, has dominated modern pop for nearly, three, damn, decades and is offering NOTHING, NEW and ORIGINAL, AT ALL, WHAT-SO-EVER. Even if what the boys are doing here, can be considered dated and old school by some, it remains ORIGINAL, for TODAY, because no one is doing anything like this anymore, and have not for quite sometime. So if we are unable to remove rap and hip-hop from modern pop anytime soon, we should at the very least, inject more VARIETY, to it as we had back in the 80s IN SPADES. And if these boys are able to do this then I'll be exceedingly, happy. If they inspire others to follow in their steps then I'll be happier, still.

Wow as teen boys have had a dream on trying to become a boy band ( most of the time it’s just a dream ) but if possible what a dream come true. And those guys made me feel like I was in my dream again.
Rita says she blocked the wrong person but she doesn’t realize she was never their pick lol their first choice was Jason, second pick was Guy, they were only picking Rita if they absolutely had to.
