I'm a big Directioner but I like Backstreet Boys too, they're incredible but you can't compare them. One Direction is together for only 4 years and Backstreet Boys were together for almost 13 years. And by the way 1D sounds different and if you don't like them then don't waste your time on them that's our job.
Paula Tomlinson BSB has been together for almost 22 years, not 13. Personally, I absolutely loathe One Direction, but I agree that you can't compare the both of them. These are two groups from different generations with different styles of music.
BSB is still amazing after all these years. They've never broken up, even when Kevin left, they've stayed together for going on 25 years now and are still making music. No other boy band in history ever did that. I'm so happy to see that people still appreciate them even more now!
As much as I love Nick and AJ poor Brian though I feel so bad for him though wasn't his fault that his voice got hurt! Got to give him credit though for going out there and giving his all even with hurt vocal cords.
