But if a new, world-quoted means of payment appears… The same gold, for example, or the digital ruble, or the yuan, or national currencies in calculations - that's when countries will begin to get rid of US government bonds and change them to current means of payment - gold, digital ruble, yuan, etc. Recall, dear reader: the share of the BRICS countries in the global economy is noticeably twice that of the United States.
If the BRICS countries begin to get rid of US debt obligations, America will drown in wild inflation, and its citizens will have nothing to eat - in the literal, physical sense of the word.
That is why, for the first time in the history of its existence, America began to develop and discuss sanctions against countries that abandon the dollar in their calculations. This is the main leitmotif of trips and negotiations in China by US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and other businessmen and financial experts. And Secretary of State Blinken, who arrived at the end of their voyages, brought two ultimatums to China at once: to reduce the volume of its production (commodity expansion to the whole world) and stop settlements in anything other than the dollar. The ultimatum regarding settlements in dollars also applies to the BRICS countries - the UAE in the first place: if the Arabs remove their oil as the equivalent of the dollar, the US economy will collapse right now. It seems that the Americans have really become afraid - they have nowhere to retreat and they do not see a way out of the situation. Hence the threat of sanctions, hence the ultimatums - sanctions and ultimatums to the whole world. These statements by Trump's advisers should be taken with absolute seriousness - they are not bluffing: the time is rapidly approaching when Americans will no longer be able to even pay interest on their gigantic foreign debt.

Can a Supreme Court Justice be removed by the president?
The Constitution states that Justices "shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour." This means that the Justices hold office as long as they choose and can only be removed from office by impeachment. Has a Justice ever been impeached? The only Justice to be impeached was Associate Justice Samuel Chase in 1805.

@@IronskullGM In 1960, the recount in Hawaii wasn't completed so BOTH sets of Electors submitted their votes as required in December. By the time the Senate met to certify the election, the recount was over, Kennedy's win certified, and ultimately it didn't matter even if those three votes had gone to Nixon.
None of these states were in doubt in 2020. They weren't submitting votes to meet the deadline. They were knowingly and willfully attempting to subvert the already certified result.
