      +Bogdon Denifre im so hyped i fly for the first time on the dreamliner tomorrow.. and i cant wait till july 1st im gonna be flying on the a350 for the first time from qatar to philly.. its supposed to be a 15 hour flight in normal airplanes but thanks to the new design and engines its cutting down the flight to 13 and a half hr flight.

    Mid-October in southern Finland, it's still dark at 8:30 am, the plane has to be de-iced and the grass is dry from the cold. In northern Germany, it's still lush green. What a difference 7 degrees of latitude can make!

    OK. That camera shot from the tail where you can see... yourself... that's awesome. I'd fly somewhere round trip just to watch that.

    Lovely video. Fantabulous aircraft. Interesting how the A350 and the B787 evolved to look so similarly eh. Something about the Hamburg terminal building reminds me of KLAX. You have a better camera than the one I have. With all the welcoming water on the window at Hamburg I know my camera would have started focusing in the droplets on the window, instead of the scenery outside. I do find it interesting how the aircraft ended up so far to the left of the lead-in line on the apron though. Perfectly on the nose-wheel stop line though. Them pilots are the cream of the crop, so I know they were slightly left for a reason.

    Omg Boeing fanboys are so annoying. I like both companies but these little Boeing fanboys saying shit about ever tiny little thing about all Airbus planes. It's just showing how little they know. You can't call the flaps noisy when the 787 makes way more annoying noises which last the whole time the flaps are down. I like both aircraft but whining little Boeing fanboys really let down the company and I'd like Boeing much more if it wasn't for the annoying kids

    • @c-3po873
      @c-3po873 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Airbus is one of the best things to happen to Boeing. Real competition. Think Chevrolets would be as good as Fords without the other ( just two competitive brands I picked)? The consumer wins.

  • @JustifyJustin

    Wow, listen how quiet those engines are compared to the General Electric meat grinders! :D

  • @Koploper77
    @Koploper77 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Damn retracting the flaps makes so much noise! 737s, a320s, a321s and 757s dont make any sound at all

    • @Koploper77
      @Koploper77 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Nope, I was on a 757 recently directly seated over the wing, and I didnt hear anything.

    • @Koploper77
      @Koploper77 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** There are 2 types of boeing 757s, the 757-200 and 757-300. American airlines only has 757-200s in their fleet, so you flew one. Condor only had boeing 757-300s. These are the newer and extended versions of the 757-200. However, I believe both 757s share the same wings, so I might be wrong here.

    • @jeromecarfan
      @jeromecarfan 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I want them to be loud as I want to hear them extending and retracting

    • @Koploper77
      @Koploper77 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      jeromecarfan Why? Does it make you feel comfortable?

    • @jeromecarfan
      @jeromecarfan 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Daniel Dankers yes..especially when I am not seated in a position where I can see the flaps. I want to know they were extended by the pilots to increase lift for take off then retracted at altitude when the airspeed is sufficient to allow the wings to create optimal lift without without flaps and slats assistance , and extended again to create drag helping to reduce air speed for landing and most critically reducing the stall speed of the aircraft so it can approach at relatively slow speeds which enable safe landing and less strain on the airframe, landing gear, brakes , reversers and ofcourse passengers. flaps are so critical you should want to hear them doing their thing. As an after thought air crashes at take off have happened where the flaps and slats weren't extended
