So happy to see another video from you! Your rib lace raglan turned out beautiful. That color really suits you! I always forget how cropped some of his patterns are and usually have to add inches more of length too. Those cardigan socks were gorgeous too. I went and add a bunch of their sock patterns to my favorites. 🙂
So glad you popped up on my feed. I enjoyed this. After 52 years of knitting, I have found a circular yoke sweater fits me the best. The drop shoulder just looks sloppy I feel. It works for some people, but not me : ) Hope you keep coming back
it does seem like some styles just don't work for some people! i'm glad to be figuring out what i like best. i'm so glad you liked the video, thanks for watching!
So nice to see you again Claire! So funny, I’m going through the same thing with thinking that drop shoulders might not be the bff I thought they were… you make beautiful things 🌻
Welcome back! It was great to "catch up" with you. Can't wait for the WIPS/sewing video. I love seeing the things you sew, it gives me the itch to get a new machine and get back into it. Your Homko sweater is such a pretty color. I agree with another commenter that if it were longer so it could be tucked in or have more of an oversized vibe like the Port sweater is, it might feel more comfy. I have a hard time styling oversized and super cropped things in my wardrobe. Your spinning is beautiful and congrats on your new spinner! So glad it worked out for you!
thanks so much!! i'm hoping it won't be too long before the next video! i do think the fit would be better if it was longer... maybe i'll feel like buying another ball of noro at some point haha. thanks for watching and for your lovely comment!
I love to see a video from you! Your hair looks awesome. I was one of the people begging you not to rip out the Hanko and I feel terrible that you are ambivalent about it!
I think you’re Noro yarn sweater looks great, but I also get why the bunching of the sleeves annoys you. I just had a similar situation with a raglan sweater where it had to much fabric around the armholes. So that started me really questioning raglan constructions for me overall (and that sweater is getting unraveled and the yarn is getting repurposed). If you don’t feel it, don’t overthink it. Yes sometimes it takes a while to love a knit but most of the time our gut feeling is right. But I would definitely give the yarn a second chance in a different project. Because the colours really make you glow. Really glad you’re back sharing again
i really do want to feel good in all my sweaters! i don't have enough space to store things that i don't love. luckily there's no rush to fix it at all. thanks so much for watching, and for your insights!
The oatmeal sweater looks really good. The lines look absolutely intentional. The other drop shoulder sweater definitely has something...I agree that the sleeves just seem to come off of it very strangely. The body looks really good though.
Do you have enough yarn to add length to the Homko? sweater? With two or three inches more it would be a fabulous slouchy sweater to wear with jeans. I look forward to your videos! Great to see you again!
So glad you're back! Your videos are always so lovely and calming and such a long chatty one was a bonus.
ohh thank you! i was worried about how extra long it was hahaha
So excited! I have missed your videos!
ohh thank you, i hope you like it!!!
I hardly watch knitting videos anymore but always excited to see yours
wow thank you linda! that's so sweet of you to say! i hope you enjoyed this one too :)

they're just the nicest sock patterns! and yes, while i love a crop, too much crop is just not that practical for me! thanks for watching :))
I'm so impressed by your spinning! looks like you put a lot of thought in everything you do, even if you just started. wow!
oh thanks so much, i try!

Yay! So excited for a sheep camp KAL, I looove your handspun contrast colour. Your starling certainly deserves a name, maybe bird related!
you're the expert, you'll have to help me with the name!!
Your skirt and jumper make a great combo 😊
thank you!!
the drafting technique you described sounds like it might be the “continuous back” drafting technique ❤
oh yes, that definitely sounds right! it was a really hard thing to search for, haha. thanks so much!!

Love your videos-was so happy to see a new one pop up! Obsessed with your pink/green handspun!!!! SO GOOD 😍😍😍
thanks so much madison!! i definitely felt very inspired by your handspun sheep camp rhinebeck sweater!
I LOVED hearing all about your spinning, you are doing great! I'm spinning for a colorwork sweater and cardigan set. It's a lot of spinning, lol!
thanks so much, susan!! those both sound like fun projects - hopefully i'll be able to start my first sweater spin soon!
That port sweater looks so cosy and stylish, its making me really want to make one 😊
Altho tubular bind off in unspun... Haha no thanks you're way more patient than I am
hahaha thank you! it is a little bit finicky, but i love to do finicky things!
