Hi, Thanks for the shout out in the previous vid.
For US school buses, when lights are flashing and stop signs unfold from the bus, one must remain stopped in both directions (except for divided highways, where the opposite traffic can continue).
Right on red; Yes, one can turn right on red after a stop except in NYC and where marked... usually during school hours, such as no right turn on red from 7 to 8am and 3 to 4pm or for blind/dangerous intersections.
Law states one is supposed to come to a complete stop before a right turn on red, but most people make a "rolling stop".
    Cheers.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the right on red is a bit confusing, but I guess that's more because I'm used to driving in the UK. Our road junctions (the ones not controlled by traffic lights) are either 'give way' or 'stop' depending on the road markings and/or sign, a solid line is stop and a broken line is give way, technically you can get fined for failing to stop where appropriate, although your more likely to get a warning, if you say you didn't see the sign or road marking you can, in theory at least, also get done for 'driving without due care and attention' but it's very unlikely.

The right turn on red isn't terribly confusing.
No sign next to traffic light means a right on red is allowed. Sign next to traffic light with slash through right arrow means no right on red is ever allowed. The signs are large and can be seen from some distance.
What are confusing are the school zone signs because you have to stop and read their restrictions and have to know when school is in session.
I didn't mention but there are also yield right turns on red. In these cases there will be a sign that says "yield", or "continuous right turn with caution" or similar wording. No stop is required before a right on red turn.
