Much like yourself one of my best friends passed away recently. While most of the other people in our high school were playing grunge, hip hop, or rap, we were playing 80s pop and rock. So it was nice I got to introduce her to the band that made that song you like... The Midnight... maybe a year before she passed. She really loved the videos they put up with their songs because they have so many 80s movies we grew up on with them. So when i hear this type of music it helps me remember her. Keep your friend in your heart. Be well.

Have you played Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Project Red? They somehow managed to predict our future in this game in terms of where we are all going to and where will all be in more then 50 years from now. Cyberpunk is a mixture of 80-s and 90-s on the background of new technologies with retro design. I believe we moved to a wrong direction in terms of design of everything - from music to a car design. Because I started to notice long ago that a great amount of people feel like that would sacrifice with anything just to go back to 80-s and even those who where born after 2000-s - they really like the times their parents lived in - I do know how to explain this. I was born in 80-s in USSR, in 90-s were hard times for people in those countries but still I feel some kind of magnetic magic for those times. I think sooner or later we go back to those times and retro design but with new technologies.
