I think he has a problem with materialism. He sees all these people who have "better" cars than him and he try's his best to out do them and be a part of that higher level of wealth. However he knows he doesnt have that type of money and he desperately chasing that shinier object so he stresses himself out by making poor decisions to the point where drugs help him cope. Yes he’s buying materialistic things. But again he’s running a TH-cam channel aka a business! He makes money off these cars. Similar to taking out a loan on an investment property. Yes those don’t depreciate. But he will make more money in 6 months off these cars than the loan or lease payments. And these cars are a deduction. I could do a video like this with my 2001 Chevy Silverado Z71, my 2012 Hyundai Veloster and my (wife’s) 2020 Palisade. Lol. I have an emotional connection with Blue (Z71). It’s not just metal and plastic to me. I’ve brought all 3 kids home from the hospital in it.

I started watching Parker before he had his M5. I enjoyed his channel.....and him, a struggling TH-camr trying to build his viewer base, his ability to connect with car owners and car lovers. And I enjoyed his humility. I liked him better back then.

People seem to hate just for the fun of it now. Yes he is different then the old content and he also struggled with some major personal problems and it was pretty apparent through his videos. But the man seems to gradually start to come back. It's actually pretty dope informative content, these cars are vehicles we only wish we can have and the man did it from the ground up. We fell in love with his character and content for many years only to completely shit on him through the difficult times. Relax people and allow him to gradually get back to old form.
