I know evolution makes sense to some people, but then that logic falls apart when you consider the earth, humankind, animals, and everything you see. All of this happened by accident as some proclaim? Or, like others, profess people are the ancestry of monkeys who evolved and turned into humanity? Even all the DNA ancestry testing in this day has proved this to be a lie.
Yet what I see is we were created and exiled to a space station (planet) to see what makes us, as individuals tick. Meaning what motivates us can be Love, Hate, Greed, Truth, or Lies? When God created humans the world became the court to test humans. What other reason did God have to place the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden?
If God is God, doesn’t this mean He is supreme and the head of all authority? At which point He sure wouldn’t play politics. Either you love, believe, and follow His teachings, or you don't.
The Lord gave Adam and Eve words to follow as they were commanded not to eat from the forbidden tree of knowledge. Yet, the Lord granted the devil via the serpent to approach Eve, who told Eve they would be like God and not die Gn 3:4. By placing a tree in the garden, it allowed the Most-High a way to test their hearts to see whom they would believe.
Scripture informs us: "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness OF THIS WORLD, against spiritual wickedness in high places Eph 6:12" Thrown out of heaven Satan (an evil spirit) has been warring with God by deceiving and possessing whom he could. Nonetheless, since the Garden of Eden, Satan still knew God spoke the truth even if he refused to follow it; when the Lord named a tree knowledge in the Garden of Eden, Satan had to have realized it was capable of providing intelligence.

But what I want you to see is after Adam ate from the tree of knowledge, the Lord said in Genesis three, verse twenty-two, and Genesis eleven, six, "Behold, the man has become as one of us, to know good and evil, Gn 3:22”.
Whereby the Lord knew humankind would be capable of copying many of His achievements. This is the reason after humans had completed building the city of Babylon, the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined doing, Gn 11:6.
Humans were capable of gaining knowledge because Eve influenced by an evil spirit stole the fruit off the tree of knowledge. Thereby, humankind has increased in wisdom and can mimic many of God's achievements and even miracles. And by understanding this, it should be obvious the forbidden tree of knowledge changed humankind's makeup. This change enabled humanity's mind to evolve to the point we see on this day, and they can create medicine, which is for good and weapons of mass destruction for bad, Gn 2:17.
Nevertheless, when Christ came, he didn't bring medical books but healed people by God's power.
Even when Elijah called fire down from heaven, it wasn't fireworks or planes dropping bombs, but God's power. Second Kings, chapter one, verse ten, tells the story.
The New Testament testifies the Lord seeks those who have faith and trust in His power. In fact, without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him, Hebrews 11:6.

@@mrigno7989 I have been exactly where you are at. I still do go there sometimes, not very long ago actually. What helps me when the world starts to try to confuse me away from the Word is to just go back to the Word.
Book of James helps me a lot. If you truthfully pray fir discernment and wisdom, He will guide you to the answer. Sometimes words will illuminate and physically lift off the page. I had never experienced that until I was at the most lost days of my life, going through a heartbreaking divorce. I asked God to show me answers and within moments my Bible was open and specific scripture was lifting up toward my eyes.
So very amazing to me. A lot of comfort when I needed it most.
So at age 39, I began to understand a little of what “a personal relationship with Christ” meant. I’m so very thankful for that.

For example, The Basilica of Annunciation is located in Nazareth. In the lower region of that Basilica there is small cave and in this cave it is believed that Mary was told of Jesus’ pending miraculous birth. There are other caves near by one of which was supposedly Joseph’s. “house”. Visit this; it is still there to see!
