Stapleton took the stage himself with his acoustic guitar during the Season 12 finale of The Voice in 2017, performing his single “Either Way.” His songs were a popular choice for the Artists that season, with Casi Joy performing “Parachute” and Jesse Larson singing “Tennessee Whiskey."
The country star also has another The Voice connection. He collaborated with Coach Kelly Clarkson in 2021 for the song “Glow.” She told fans during an Instagram chat that working with him was “so magical” and said, “I love his voice,” according to Distractify.
Chris was a very successful song writer before his wife encouraged him to start singing his own songs. Adele, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan and many others have had hit songs written by Chris.

You should ALWAYS watch the live version of Chris’s songs if you can. He’s one of the few artists that is even better live. So rare! To my knowledge he’s only done 1 official music video and that was for “Fire Away”, a very beautiful and sad video. Cold at the CMA Awards, anything live from Austin City Limits or The Bing Lounge are a must watch!! React to some of those…you’ll love it!
Yes, Chris has written hundreds of songs before he ever recorded anything. I think his songs have been nominated something like 80+ times for Grammys hes even written for Adele, Pink and many others..

You're learning the history how Chris came about! He wrote songs for other people for a long time, but the artists kept chopping, butchering and changing the songs or didn't sing it the right way as Chris wrote it. So, in order for his songs to be sung right, he had to start singing them for himself!

You’re right, he deserves every accolade. Truly generational! Do remember, however his wife (I believe the girlfriend at the time, who is a wonderful singer herself) had to convince him that he could actually sing in front of people! She deserves a ton load of credit for her appraisal of his gifts and her generosity of spirit. Question: do you think any of their kids are going to be musical? They got five already!😂
That's not correct. Chris was the lead singer of a Bluegrass band called The Steeledrivers prior to meeting Morgane.

Absolutely Morgane is responsible for getting Chris out on his own. He was lead singer for two groups, not an individual performer. If you watch his performances he rarely looks at the audience, lights are kept dim on stage, and always focuses on Morgane or his guitar..
