I took my 12-year old dog for her last trip today, she had widely spread lung cancer. A few minutes after she was euthanised this song suddenly began playing loud and clear in my head, I somehow felt that it was my beloved Piki telling me she was still walking right there, a few steps ahead of me. I stumbled upon Volbeat a couple of years back and was like, oh my god, absolutely phenomenal band with with an epic lead singer. They are huge in Europe especially with guests like Johan. Maybe America will one day wake up and realize how incredibly awesome and tight they are.
I've seen them twice here in the U.S. ... They packed the house both in Las Vegas and California. They have lots of adoring fans here who know just how awesome they are... and that number is growing :)
Greetings from the US. Just showed my good friend this song and Temple of Ekur, Still Counting. I thought the lyrics were originally “Fighting, Must keep fighting, stand beside me, stand me by, another moment, For Evigt(forever), just let me decide, must keep fighting, must keep me standing by” which is funny for not knowing it was danish. This song makes me think of my grand-daughter that passed on December 23, 2018. I was never sure what the lyrics said at first but the emotion behind it feels as powerful as the feeling of loss that I have been living with. I love this song and it reminds me every day to get up and just breath.

I've been playing guitar for 37 years. I can't believe my ears. This band is legendary. I grew up on Metallica and all the fans of the 80s and 70s. We had Chuck Berry, then Elvis then led Zeppelin than metallica. Now we have Volbeat. God bless you guys for real. I would have samurai my pinky finger to be at this concert and I'm not even joking

Denmark is such a tiny country, but it has such amazing cultural richness.
Well, i usually avoid BIG concerts like this. Mainly because its NOT fun to watch the band far away, and usually the bands cant ensure good sound at a place like this. BUT, wow did Volbeat deliver the goods that night. YES they did. The sounds was incredible, the tracks, the guest artists, and the people I was with, made this the best concert experience ever. The day/night was awesome.
Saw them with A7X and Metallica the open air baseball stadium in Detroit last year, Volbeat by far had the best sound and, in my opinion, was the best of the three bands that night. Great band. Can't wait to see them again!!!

I've heard that the sound in parken is notoriously bad due the fact that it was designed as a sports stadium not a concert stadium, was it not noticable?
Its fucking sad when the guy who is supposed to do good job and make good voice, fucked up everything like on Slipknot concert. They should be more careful and choose good people on that other stuff too

This song never fails to put me in a good mood. My only regret is that the one time I got to see Volbeat they played with Godsmack headling and that crowd would not have appreciated this song.
