Welcome to the second season of the Coffee Break Sessions! This is the fifth episode where me and Shaqdi playing records from Tunisia, Algeria, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Libya.
Shaqdi is an artist, producer and songwriter based in London. She's half Swedish and half Palestinian and in this set she's playing some records from her dad's own collection.

36:49 so many childhood memories with this one... I think it was the late '80 when Ofra Haza climbed the charts in Italy with this record. The blend of middle eastern vibes and modern production was simply astonishing... I had a cassette tape recorded from vinyl, couldn't get enough of it!
