I am going to every tutorial and following it on Aspen. This is too early for a starter. Once I put speed and use curves, it says over specified. Secondly, it changes the curve data itself. I don't know why. Last but not the least, this is great contribution by you. Thanks a lot
You have to reset all the Cv parameters at the initial setpoint before each simulation run because it's dynamic so it will change and in real plant senerio it only happens at startup and shutdown. I hope it will help
Thanks for your Hysys video series, I'm watching one after the other. But Sir i have a question, In the hot bypass valve, you put value of 0.1 of conductance, why 0.1 not any other? Can you please justify? Your kind response would be helpful for me
Hi , other than the shut down, is it possible to simulate also the start-up from an equalized pressure in the system (SOP)? Is it possible to provide IDLE1, IDLE 2, MGS ramp?
Hot vapor bypass is provided for the system whose operating point lies close to surge line limit. In the above case v dint require hot vapor bypass as operating line is already away from surge line limit. Thats y he reduce the flow across hot vapor bypass
Hii Brother Actually it is very nicely explained........ But when I m implementing in my Aspen It shows the error of OVERSPECIFIED Please help me sort out this problem Thanks in advance
but sir in the my company we are using air compressor for air separation plant where compressor has anti surge valve in the discharge line while cooler on the discharge side of commpressor , but in this video when you performed simulation there anti surge valve installed on the suction side , why ??
"The current flow rate is less than surge Flow. The pressure flow solver failed to converge. Try using the equation viewer to see where the problem is. Dynamic calculations stopped. Integration time 1.0125: Integrator Stopped at 1.0 minutes" - What does this mean ? I did everything you did , still the results aren't the same.
hello tks for what you are given us just i have a slit problem it writes the pressure flow solver failed to converge so if its possible give us the main file of you to comprae everything inside or help us with that problem we really appreciate that
I tried the same, erasing the imposed pressure on compressor discharge stream, and now i get a different result. I think that what we got it's the discharge pressure that compressor can produce, for that rpm curve (imposed) and that flowrate (imposed). My opinion is that if we want 30 bar, we have to change either the flowrate or the rpm, please @eduX confirm. ( and thank you for this amazig tutorials :)) )
Dear Friend, The flow of the first scenario must not exceed the stonewall line. The flow is throttled and should follow that line by lowering the RPM. Best regards
@@eduXinsight Hi. This is probably a weakness in the software that could be communicated to its developers. The Stonewall line represents the maximum possible flow because it is shocked. Some simulators have similar errors when sonic velocity is reached in pipes and do not report that the flow is shocked. Regards

Your Tutorials are very useful
thank you very much of your effort
Very nice, topic.Well explained. Thanks for your presentation
Very informative and superbly made videos
Glad you think so!
Your tutorial is very helpful sir

Thanks for your kind & useful lecture~
Very cool sir
Great tutorial.
Excellent work!

Very interesting. Thank's for this toturial
you are welcome :)
Great tutorial
A Great video
How did you know to manipulate hot bypass valve and not for example inlet or descharge valve or any other component?

Does unisim has the surge analysis function?
Thanks

I am facing the same issue of integration failed at time 0
Can you the curve data for practice
hello tks for what you are given us
just i have a slit problem
it writes
the pressure flow solver failed to converge
so if its possible give us the main file of you to comprae everything inside
or help us with that problem
we really appreciate that
Same problem could you please help me to resolve
I would like to know how you obtained the compressor curve?
This data is provided by the vendor
Sir thanks for the information.. But my data is not converging after certain point
Sir, I have tried simulating but not succeeded. Kindly help me simulate
When I run the case it says the compressor is over specified. And if I remove one of the inputs, I get a different value/result
I have the same problem, how did you solve it?
