    Great video, very precise as always.
    I have a question : why didn't we put the control valve in the sat.water IN?

    • @jefersoncostaengineer
      @jefersoncostaengineer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Farouk, you need to add your control valve in the line that will get the results you need. I would add a control valve to water line if I would like to control water flow. You can do that in your simulation :)

    Hello Mr. Costa, thanks for this very helpful guide! One question: how can I verify how much time it took for the hot water stream to reach the set point of 60°C? Thank you beforehand for your availability.

      Hi Pasquale, probably you already got the answer. In any case, this video may help you on the dynamic settings th-cam.com/video/v0ZDOP3Bq-g/w-d-xo.html
      Sorry for the late response 😅

    Great video Jefferson, very useful. I have a question, is it possible to do a dynamic simulation of a gas pressure regulation plant? I´m trying to do it to see the behavior of the downstream pressure to changes in the inlet pressure but I don´t know what I´m doing wrong. Should I use two pressure controllers to see the changes? One in the inlet manually to set any pressure i want and auto in the downstream valve to see how the outlet pressure behaves to the changes?
    Thank you for the content!

      Hi Nicolas, yes it is possible. My tip is, try to convert your dynamics in small steps. start not adding many control valves at the same time.

      Hi Paolo, you can find some navigating in my TH-cam videos 😇. Step by step with all kind of equipment in Aspen Hysys is available only on my Inprocess Booster training program

    Hi Jefferson, thanks for your dedicated video. I have 1 question: When I switch to the steady mode, the system shows that all the streams need to be input the value again (displayed as light blue color)?

    • @jefersoncostaengineer
      @jefersoncostaengineer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I Hieu, when you stop dynamic and return to steady state simulation Aspen Hysys goes to On Hold "mode". You just need to click on Activate on "Home" tab to allow Aspen Hysys to return with calculation. On On Hold mode hysys will not perform calculation (define stream properties based on fluid package for instance) and because of that, streams are kept in light blue.

      @@jefersoncostaengineer Yeah Sir, seems like the same thing happens when we add new components. Thanks for your answer Sir, that helps me a lot.

    Great, the only problem is, that HYSYS is not free. Is there any free dynamic simulation software? (Something close to HYSYS as e.g. DWSIM for the steady state simulation)

    Hi Jeferson,
    How did you obtain the flow rate of the steam stream?

    Very nice, Jefferson! What was the fluid package used? Peng robinson, NRTL, UNIQUAC...?

    • @jefersoncostaengineer
      @jefersoncostaengineer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Rodrigo, for process simulation involving only water I use the "ASME Steam" fluid package because it best fit with steam tables available in the literature.

    Hi Jefferson.
    I want to simulate loading a tank with product 1 that contains moisture. then empty the tank and verify the percentage of residual moisture that remains in it.
    Then I want to fill the tank with dry product 2, to verify how much moisture it absorbs.
    is it possible to do with hysys?
    The idea of the simulation is to verify if product 2 is degraded by the humidity of product 1 when using the same tank.

    Hi jeferson
    I want to ask you something about dynamic simulation.
    When i switch steady state mode(there’s converged already) into dynamic mode, and there’s have no problem with the system after running out the asistant dynamic. But integration time didn’t work, it says (i mean hysys program) “the pressure flow solver is unable to solve the matrix, the spesification may be inconsistent, that is certain variable are under or over determined”
    What should variable are used in dynamic simulation, and is it corelation with the degree of freedom?
    Please give me advice of my question. I hope you reply it.
    Thankyou jeferson 😊

    • @jefersoncostaengineer
      @jefersoncostaengineer  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Wulan, it hard to tell you anything without knowing your inputs and results. Dynamics operates in a range of operation. Verify if, in steady steady, your simulation converts in the maximum and in the minimum sets you are evaluating. If not, adjust the range until you have converge. After that, set your dynamics to run in the range you know there is an answer.
