Have you tried creating grids/lined papers/rulers and saving them to your Dropbox or photos? Then just importing them as their own layer in procreate? That way you have any type of ruler/grid you'd need for a project and once you're done you can hide or delete that ruler layer! That's the easiest way I've found for consistent and even lettering!
still got mine. . I love to fill it up with songs and education audio for study. For that I use "ZillaTube", it works great. If you google it, you can find it
in my opinion the one unsung hero in design and illustration is MediBang Paint Pro. it basically illustrator, procreate,sketch all in one.. for free… on ipad with t2 save options, onlinde cloud synt with desctop app and ios without the subscriptions of cc… I use Medibang my 5year old daughter uses illustrator draw… It can do it all… including shapes, using pictures with so much flexibility the tech support isalso good...

I suggest you to take a look at Concepts App! I think it would fit you as an logo artist. I have used it since the very first day I bought the first iPad Pro last year. It is truly amazing.
Diet Display is another incredible app; I have the 512gb iPad Pro, but use the duet display app to give my MacBook Pro a second monitor w/ my air 2. You hook it up via usb and it has basically imperceptible lag. I haven’t tried astropad yet - I wish they gave you the option for a wired hookup to host computer like duet display. It would eliminate the pixelization / slight lag problem you mentioned.

Yes please for the Affinity photo....... I make 3D books and pop up books. Procreate has been a revelation as I can now convert to svg in my cutting programs WOW it has changed my life!!!!!!!

Theodore Medina i take all my notes for university on the iPad, and I load my textbooks on there, it's amazing and works wonderfully! I personally prefer Goodnotes rather than notability (I have both) for note taking, both are really good, give it a try!

I graduated engineering school dual degree. pencil and blank loose paper to take notes on class, then take those notes and organize it when you are back to your desk. I promise, it is much more efficient. unless you wont miss those $900 sollards plus tax. taking notes is not such a good excuse, art is such a greaaat excuse!! i love Art! PS bought 1,000 sheets of paper for every school year 20 dollars or less.

not really, u can use photoshop for a lot of things, and most artists like to use photoshop for digital painting because of the plethora of brushes it has and also settings. but thats just my opinion, there must be some other reasons of course.
i´ve drawn in many many different programs and photoshop is pretty different from illustrator in my opinion. just how it feels to draw in these programs is so different, beside all those fancy functions

Nice review(s)! Affinity Photo does do something PS doesn't, esp. when it comes to working at high bit depths and dealing with color profiles etc. Probably more applicable to photographers and people doing comp work w/ 3D renders on their main system etc. though than for illustration on an ipad. It does lack some things though that PS has- so it's not a replacement for everyone as you say.

Mate do you also sometimes get the zoom bug in Procreate? You know, where you have been zoomed in, made some adjustments and then zoom out again, but the picture "jumps" back to the higher zoom? Hope you understand what I'm writing 😊

Ever heard of onenote? It does all the note taking things of notability, and is included with a Microsoft subscription which everyone has. It also has Ink to text, math, and even more features. Very versatile.
Honestly--is it as easy as it looks or do you have an incredibly fine hand from your work and practice on the iPad? Any apps that help the beginning artist who can't sadly draw stick people? I have a very unsteady hand and it is more apparent on portable devices. I've had a pro for a few weeks now and contemplating getting the pencil. My intent was to use it for work, taking notes when I travel, mock ups, wire frames, mind mapping. I hate typing, iPhone, iPad or laptop. Siri does all of my text, email and comment dictation because, well, laziness. Until Siri takes my job somewhere overseas where my 15 letter name is Bob, I need to find something between advanced and knowing just enough to do some damage. 😜 just wish iOS would pair better with the Mac ecosystem so I can toss my 2011 mac mini and survive with my iPhone, iPad and AppleTV.

Because Adobe Illustrator doesn't exist (yet) on app store..
Photoshop could technically be used for anything within editing and drawing or whatever.
illustrator technically was made for typography but the tools adobe add in their softwares gives u the ability to use it for multiple medias.

The problem I find with Notability is that it's not A4 format and if you print it out it looks pretty weird :/
