Just a side note which I'm sure you knew but didn't really mention: If the auto-aim lights up as a hit yet manual aim doesn't, you can actually fire and have a chance at hitting with auto-aim. It's the same with many low muzzle velocity tanks that have to arc the shells, such as lower tier tanks mounting howitzers. Auto-aim will indicate a successful solution even if there are obstacles in the direct line of sight or the lack of gun depression doesn't allow you to get the boresight on them because the shell arc. So... if a target is sitting still and auto-aim says you can hit it, take the shot with auto-aim.
I learned that one from Skill4tu but i wasn't sure if it applies to console
I think I mentioned it when autoaiming but looking down the sights can't see them.

To give some credit to the tank, i believe its gun is better than the sturmtiger. The fact it has ap rounds makes it easier to hit modules on tanks, and with such a high caliber, one shoting tanks becomes reliable
I sold strum to buyback bar 😂, same with e100, sold it for e75, and about to get third mark on e75
The gun is probably better except shell velocity, but you very rarely get to use it

I've been trying to grind through it for 6 months!! I can only stand to play it once every week or so. Thats how much I hate it!!

Tip : Skill4tu says you should aim on 3rd person view in order to loop the shells more accurately 👍👍

It does work here. Only work on flat ground tho for the Bar because it's too tall
this not only happens with this tank, im been farming Type 58, it has no gun depression whatsoever, so i find myself searching for a little ground that gives me a bit of a low angle to shoot :c

the horizontal gun traverse is also near nothing, that with the tracks locking in sniper mode and the tank is soooo slow pretty garb

I wish you could deactivate hull lock while aiming down sights. It would make tanks like this easier to play
you know you can turn off hull lock in settings?
KV85 is in a similar boat. Granted the tier its at is more forgiving and you have turret
I'm not the biggest fan of that tank either
The first game I played with this POS fully upgraded I one shot a IS7! Hahaha. The rest of the grind up to the Sturmtiger was soooo painful. Was mega happy to trade the turd in!
In my short and horrific time on the Bar I managed a win rate of 48% which honestly felt like Id won the lottery! For comparison after 71,000+ battles my average win rate is 58%.
My advice to anybody is to save all free xp to totally avoid this tank if at all possible!

I'm at the sturmtiger p and recently just fully upgraded it's dam awful the gun traverse and depression and it's extremely slow ASF is the only thing so critically bad, the armor I already no is trash so I learned to deal with it but those other probs I mentioned it's such a fat pain, I guess it's even more awful at tier 9 F**K😖😖 but I'ma keep pushing thru whish me luck guys😖😖😭👌🏾💯✌🏾 the tier 7 was soooooooooooooooooooooooo much much much more enjoyable and able to play
The tier 7 is a delightful meme, the 8-9 are horrid, the 10 is a nice meme. Not great but can be hilarious! And you can even get the gun on target which is a massive improvement on the 9 lol
@@Petty360 that's why I still have the tier 7 and I'll m almost at 2 marks on it, but I do have about 140k saved up free exp so and about 5k gold so I'm just hoping I have enough to get thru or half way thru the tier 9 and straight to the tier 10 and thank you for responding ✌🏾👌🏾🤝🏾🔥

I think a big problem is when you look at the development of the bär it become aparent it qasnt meant to be a td nor should it be used as one. Is much more akin to an artillery than anything else.

I mean this tank is what happens when an ARTY gets made into a TD, t92 is being converted into TD next lolz. Strum was never a TD, it was a bridge destroying gun, and rocket motar.

Tottally AGREEE. After more then 30.000 games i cant believe the amount of crap this tank is. Thats why i asked you the other day does WOT need games testers!!!!!! I dont know if the model needs total recovery, i think if they put the gun i little bit 2 or 3 degree. Its crazy not being able to hit something in front of you.... One game, you just need one game to understand how bad is this tank and all the problems it have.
I started do use the second ammo, because the blast range is 12 meters, because of that i can hit near and get 300, 400 or 500 damage. You cant snipe with this... crazy, but ive tried... all my friends stoped and sold this tank. Nobody wants to play this.

I'm trying to get WG to do something for once with the BAR that actually helps the BAR and make it usable. Unfortunately, it feels like talking to a rock

You can kill stuff with it but it's absolutely horrid to getting the round to target

It's bottom of all the statistics on the game in terms of AVG damage, win rate/survival rate. It's actually worse statically than most tier 7s let alone 8

would've been funny if you just showed like 5 games where you did 0 damage. god knows i had a lot of them in this piece of junk. hands down the absolute worst experience you can get in world of tanks.
