The original Tusk grind was an epic and it took me 2 times. The first I was 80,000 xp short as I ran out of time trying to get a million xp for the last stage😮. How did the VK 45 not get deleted sooner! That was a crazy 20 seconds on the last game and how did you survive 😂 GG’s👍
I remember the original Tusk Op - it was a complete nightmare that totally ruined tiers 8-10 for the final 4 months of 2018. There were 5 light tanks on each team almost EVERY match, and all they did were YOLO and die within the first 1-2 minutes of the match. Basically, whichever team had their light tanks remaining won the match. It was simply atrocious. The Tusk Op, I feel, gave rise to the awful YOLO meta that has become the norm now.

Yeh that original tusk grind made me go absolutely not! Lol. Got it second time around
What makes me question it a bit is the AMX 13 105 hull. The AMX 13 105 has terrible hull traverse. It fact it turns worse than the BC 25t, and that‘s a medium. On a side note, since you‘re into derp again…how about some derp action in the Sturm VK, this time with an emphasis on it‘s HE rather than it‘s HEAT?

I wish I got a chance to play the T49 when it was still tier 8. I can't imagine what that thing probably used to do to tier 6s.
The T49 has never been tier 8 but imagine!!
it was the top tier light at tier 8 a long time ago mate. used to see 6s rarely! but it was filthy Most of my play time in T49 was when it was a tier 8 (three marked it then) Changed to a tier 9 when they brought in the tier x lights

Man it has been a good 3 years since I quit this game, right around update 6.0. I'm back now with the UI changed and not remembering what they did, so I don't need to be dissapointed. I'm just wondering when the tusk will come back, I really want that tank
Tusk will be back at some point no doubt, really depends on WG decides to put it back up

I've always hated the high-tier derp tanks like the Tusk and the T.A.N.K. Just incredibly toxic to be running round, not getting hit, derping some poor sap for half of its health from halfway across the map and being able to get away with it. Far too easy to do damage in tanks like these - no effort. Just breaks the game, in my opinion.
Still some hilarious games tho!

Cheers mate, although Tusk and Turtle etc are very easy to hit tbh unlike some lights like Vanguard etc. Takes some knowhow to actually Derp away in it unlike Type 5/AVRE etc

That's what this playerbase has become, sadly. Since 6.0 (and arguably Mercenaries) WGCB has catered to the short-term scumbag casuals who will only play for 3-4 months before moving on to something else. It's rinse and repeat. Funnily enough, the wallet warriors are the only people keeping this game from finally going completely under.
Thats this game lol, always been absolutely dreadful teams at times
