I'm pretty sure Kaiba canonically scrapped KaibaCorp's military division. With the exception of his dumb looking jet, it all should be gone. That alone should be enough for Allister to see Seto is nothing like his father. Hell, he and Mokuba were in that orphanage when that war happened, probably.

The "Bridge" joke reminded me that you have to watch LittleKuriboh's Naruto Ninjabridge at some point...one of the episodes has the best "bridge" joke and all in all it's just a few episodes but a very funny series. Absolutely takes the piss out of Naruto

@@fireball1249 not necessarily...I mean I watched a couple of episodes after Ninjabridge and stopped because it was too cringe for me. Still I think Ninjabridge is one of the (if not THE) funniest bridges out there.
Just to be clear...not one of the best, just one of the funniest.
Most references are towards Naruto itself and the others, like the Rower for example, are still very funny even without the additional context.

Between yugioh duel monsters and gx kaiba decides it's a good idea to experiment with duel monster spirits - the card "kaibaman" is a result, as monster spirits are born from a person's soul... which makes kaibaman basically how kaiba sees himself.

yes dark magician girl is indeed seras.
and if you dive deeper into abridging you're going to hear that voice a whole lot more because, back in the olden days, most female characters were either voiced by men outright like Tea for example, or by the makers girlfriend or something because there were only like three or four female actresses in that community who had skills in voice acting and decent mics.
this made the few female voices in abridging extremely busy people because every abridged series that wanted to go for a better quality product to either get megami33 who voiced bulma in dbza or nowacking who voiced seras since you might get away with having a guy poorly doing a girl voice on a shitposting series like ygotas or none piece, but that's not gonna fly when you're going for higher quality stuff like what team four star did. this state got to the point where pretty much every abridged series had a generic female character voiced by nowacking.
I can't believe i never realized Jesse did DMG as well. and yeah voice acting has come a long way since the ol days

That's actually another thing Sgt Frog Abridged did pretty well. There were quite a few different actresses for the various characters, and all of them did really well. Though there was something of a recurring issue with keeping a voice actress for Momoka.

If you watch the 4Kids version of the end of Mai's second duel with Joey this season (the one several episodes after this one), its actually pretty touching and tragic.
