I do understand 1point and 2 point perspective. What I don't understand is...if I have a ground line with a front view of a house and I have to put my HL 1.8m above GL. Wkat scale must I divide the 1.8 by.

This drawing, though I use a reference, is just showing how to create arches. I forced the vanishing points on the paper. If you want it to look exactly like the photo extent the picture plane and follow the angles to find the true vanishing points. Most two-point perspective vanishing points will not fall outside of a regular picture plane.
