I signed up and put a picture in and did a little bio of myself and when I went to complete the continue button did not work. So I hope it went through. Thanks and I love the idea. Thanks Alex and Spencer.
Never have I came across a company so devoted to education. For that, anytime I am talking about fly fishing or tying I mention this company. 🐐 For sure!
Disclaimer:I'm in northern central Pa so I'm no harm 😂. I tell any skill level of angler, avoid fishing dries on glass smooth water at all cost ,and if you must carefully move up stream ,using at least 9' leader and swing a small wet fly thru the glass ,much less frustrating and higher chance of hook up
I just got home. Fished the Weber near Echo this morning. It defeated me. So I went to the middle Provo. Hooked 4 but only realed in 1 there. Good times 🎣🐟
When you said it's free, you hooked me for REEL life. Too many channels try to set up membership fees. I get it, they are trying to make it semi profitable. But I can't justify spending money on things that ding into my fly fishing budget. So thanks for that. On a very sober note, some of my favorite fishing places (not to mention the threat to my neighborhood) are getting hammered by the Park Fire. I was supposed to go camping and fishing near/at Manzanita Lake at Lassen Volcanic National Park Tuesday. I pray that it survives. Such iconic and beautiful water.
Do you have any recommendations for where to put your rod whike your changing your rig? I don’t like setting it on the ground if I don’t have to. I’m wondering if you have any tips on how to most efficiently change your fly, tie tippet. Maybe that could be a new video idea?? I love what you guys are doing!

@@venturesflyco watched the video. Aside from the false casting that's common with proper fly equipment, it's still all applicable to using flies in general.
Well a lot of what you're saying is working with dry flies. Hellgrammite is the best fly. Black with red stripe. Catches all the fish. Of course exccept sucker.
Presentation is everything I tell people the same thing. I catch thousands of fish standing on the same Rock. I use experimental tackle and when I hear somebody else say that exact same thing that presentation is everything I think. What are you talking about? Do you know what you're talking about?

I could have used this advice about 3 hrs ago, on the Lycoming! Thanks
That, based on my experience, is solid advice. The glassy stuff looks good but it generally isn't.
The longer leader on sounds obvious now that you point it out but I never thought of trying it lol
Love it! Now we can all finally meet up on the lower Provo! 😜
Saturday at 9 am? 😉😂🤪
I just use the Provo bounce. Works every time.

Oh man Dave… that is sad to hear. 🙏🏼
They might not be selling memberships for their content. But their flies they sell are top notch and a good value!
@@samuelsanderson9692 I agree! Their hopper pattern is really great.
@@daveschlom4033 Im waiting to fish that one at this grassy river I know of!
Love their reference guides with the fly boxes!
@venturesflyco Thank you for your kind thoughts. A week ago I was stoked. Today, depressed.
