Hey Dan and Sam! Thanks so much for doing the review! I knew those food ones you would not be fans of haha. Lots of people love them. The Hero you would not be a fan bc of the slightest amount of Cinnamon in it. You hate cinnamon haha. Most of my scents are a mixture of about 5-6 different fragrances/essential oils blended together. So the Second Banana is definitely a home blend I created. You want to almost eat it. And yes we may or may not have a peach one coming out in September. 😉

I love the little pre game video snippet you put on before the main video's :-) I love the theme and art, especially that they have beards added. None of those scents sound like something I would enjoy, but like you said, I am sure some people like them.

I love the sweet scents by 8Bit. They are my 2nd most worn beard company as I keep trying and liking more of their scents. They have added some new scents since this video, including T'Oud Town which is a Blackberry Tobacco scent that is awesome! They have also done the Princess Peach like Dan jokingly mentioned and its the best peach scent I have tried out there. Its not a straight up peach, it has some other subtle accents but peach is still the most predominant scent, the other scents just smooth out the peach and it is awesome too! I love Smash Bros and Second Banana though and they are my top 2 with T'oud Town tied for 2nd with Second Banana and Princess Peach coming in a close 3rd. They have candles now in 4 of their more popular scents as well that smell amazing! Great in beard, not greasy, scents last, and their butter is the bomb!
Fantastic review! I agree with the feel In beard section 100% the oil and butter is amazing and I can’t see anyone not liking it. Tropical leather is the best one! Haha I get that it’s a bit of an odd combo but I love it 😃 cool to see you guys review this company, it’s one of my favorites right now!

I had a similar experience with the feel for 8 bit. They make a great blend! I have a sample of Hero and Maiden, I haven't tried the butter yet but you have never led me wrong with a butter, so I'm sure I'd like it! Great video Dan C!

Love those medium thick oils. I hadn't heard of this company until your 3 year live stream, but they are on my radar now. Definitely one of the more creative beard companies I have noticed, definitely nostalgic, and some of the scent profiles seem interesting too. Thanks for another solid review 🤙
He actually was released with the Master System Sega console in 1986 as 8-bit. The Genesis was 1991 and was 16-bit and was the game that system came with.
Just getting back into the beard game and dealing with beardruff, so loving your videos. Unless I missed it, I would be interested in seeing you views on Zeus beard products, specifically wash. My friends rave about them but I’m unsure. Bluebeards, too.

Im going to try that Second Split!!! I dont like musky cologne. Im more of a Citrus, Slight Sweet like Gio, Polo Black, etc. Cant wait for September to see this peach one.
Maybe a fresh and minty one, and the bottle could have the character Link on it. Maybe a smokey camp fire smell with Bowser on it. Maybe a citrus one with pac-man on the bottle. I love the 8-bit branding.
I have all their products except two, the unscented and the second banana (Diddy). I want to get them soon, I have a sample of the 🍌split, and I do enjoy it. I can honestly say I enjoy all of their stuff. I have been rocking their oil and butter almost every other day, with the new scents they have so much to offer. It's too bad you didn't enjoy them as much.

Cool congrats again on 3 yrs Dan. Ive been wanting to try this company and love the theme but i also am not interested in smelling like food. The musky barrel sounds good and was on the fence with the maiden. Hope they make more scents like that.
I just got 2 oils and 2 butters from them yesterday. They smell so good! I got The Blue Devil and The Thrilla Gorilla. Threw The Thrilla Gorilla right in and it was great. Awesome smell and made my beard nice and soft. Also seemed like a little butter went a long way. I was a little lost with the restrictor top and made a mess tho lol.
Hey trusted teacher, do you wash your butter out every day after butter, am I using to much butter if I find my hairs binding together an hour or two later when drying. All the best tony

I have 4 scents from 8 bit, 3 from epic (same owner as 8 bit) and two prototype oils (a pumpkin spice, and an apple pie scent), and I have to say, 8 bit beard co is the absolute best if you want to smell good, but be manly at the same time. No matter what scent you get, you'll be happy with it every time, I promise. If you're not, message me, and I'll tell you you're wrong.
I was a fan of Epic Beards when they came out and I'm even more of a fan of 8-bit. Feel in beard is fantastic and has taken a spot in my top feel in beard brands. Spirit Maiden is my favorite scent from them but I've only tried two of their scents. Hearing the review on the scents I might have to pick up Thrilla Gorilla. Awesome job as always!
I want to show love to this company because the branding and logos are amazing, but the scents are definitely not in my wheelhouse. I'd love to see them tone it down a bit and maybe even have Dan consult with them in the future. Wishing them the best.
