Poonam Khetrapal Singh, Regional Director of WHO South-East Asia Region, extended her gratitude to the Government of India for hosting WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar, Gujarat. "The Global Centre in Jamnagar will be a hub of excellence that will promote the use of evidence and learning and help deliver safe, effective and evidence-based traditional medicines,” she added.

Is it some kind of joke or the government is just mocking human pain and suffering. Millions of people suffer due to pathetic date of health care in India. Instead of fixing critical health care needs .
What is traditional medicines? Are they wanting who approval for Vedas based medicines. Why who is going in wrong direction?
Traditional medicine also includes unnani (ancient arabic) medicine knowledge.
there is pretty much no evidence behind these traditional medicines
