The whole thing that the baby only exists because of Leanne, that kind of remins me of Melissandre in GoT with her necklace that concealed the fact shes an old woman , Leanne is some kind of witch. Julian seems to be the most traumatised out of all of them, Sean wasn't there so he probably didnt see Jericho did like Julian did and Dorothy is blanked it out because of the trauma. So Julian is probably the most traumatised of them all having found Dorothy with Jericho. I think Dorothy needs to realise what happened so she can let go and move forward and not have Leanne have that hold over her. Maybe Leanne is the dark ghostly character, like the smoke monster in Lost.
@@sceneinvaders It would explain why Jericho is only alive when Leanne is around, she has the ability to make people see/feel or experience things that aren't really happening, maybe the CLS thought that is was some kind of religious god given powers but its actually sometihng much darker. I always wondered exactly what they were saying in their prayers, it was impossible to know what George was saying when he said Grace at the dinner scene in Season 1 or what |Leanne is saying all the times she is praying. Also the fact that she wrote Seans name on a page in her book about Leprosy when his hand is all infected and stuff, he also lost his taste buds when Leanne came to the house and they started to return in season 2 |I think once Leanne was back in the house but after her and Sean had a few conversations and she seemed more favourable to him again and bingo he gets his taste buds back. I also wondered about the fact that Leanne is definitely obessed with Dorothy. Even wondering if it was possible Leanne could have anything to do with Jerichos death so that she would be needed, maybe a bit of a reach but just the fact she was obsessed with her, shes not as innocent and niaeve as she seemed to be in season 1 although she did very quickly change her attitude towards Dorothy when she found out exactly what happened. Be intesresting to see what happens nest, cant wait to see next episode, its going to be hard waiting in between, wish the episodes ran a bit longer but I guess they are getting across what they want the audience need to see and when they see it.
Picture this ending: everything is destroyed and it’s just Leanne and Jericho left (not sure if it’ll be doll Jericho or real baby Jericho), and Jericho has doll versions of Dorothy and Sean to play with…
Toby is the only person that Leanne acts shy and kind of uncertain around--like an ordinary teenager. She really considers him a friend. It would be so sad if he were to die.
So I have been rewatching the series again, trying to put the pieces together with the information we already know. Im not sure if anyone has mentioned this before so apologies if they have. But this blew my mind! Whilst watching the Spaceman episode (just gone back to find the time stamp for you 16:20) behind Roscoes head you see this hook looking hand before he talks about the guy with the hook! 🤯 The hook is really in shot but as soon Roscoe talks about the hook man, this hook goes out of shot. This must be a clue. I reckon this hook man is closer to home, he’s got to be someone in the family!
I wouldn’t be surprised if Sean put the cloth on the flame when Dorothy was pregnant he was clearly sick if her being in bed rest and wanted her to go to the hospital he walked in at the EXACT. Moment she made it to the stove… you walked all the way down. Like he was right outside making sure the house didn’t burn but really wanting her to walk 🤷🏻♀️
Sean didn't leave Jerchio in the car, he was filming a TV series as a guest chef in a completely different state. He is guilty of ignoring his wife's exhaustion and being self absorbed. Dorothy was home with Jerchio and she left him in the car after refusing to admit she needed help. She even leaves the front door open and she falls asleep for hours. She awakens to see Jerchio missing from his crib and that's when she realizes the horror of what's happened. Julian is the second person on the scene to actually see Jerchios body with Dorothy completely catatonic. It's unclear if Julian calls Sean or his parents, but he is equally distraught. I believe Dorothy and Julian were children of parents who emotionally neglected them. They grew up very wealthy and privileged, but there is absolutely unresolved childhood trauma which has manifested into their adults years. Julian was having substance abuse issues well before Jerchio died and Dorothy crippling need to control everything in her orbit. Maybe just maybe Dorothy got pregnant when she was a teenager and was forced to give up her daughter. I seriously believe this cult has been in Dorothy's and Julian life for a long time and they just don't remember. I believe the grandparents are 100% affiliated with the cult, elite people have their hands in all kinds of dark stuff. The link has always been between Dorothy and Leanne, no Sean and the drawing on the wall in the neighborbors' house depicts two women painfully tied together.
As a result of losing her baby, Dorothy is experiencing delusions. There is no such person as Leanne. Dorothy alternates between herself, and Leanne. Dorothy, therefore, has multiple personalities. Dorthy created all of these personalities based on her past reporting. This is why the show always shows videos. Dorothy has used all of her past reporting experiences to fuel her delusion. Dorothy met Leanne through her past reporting. Leanne was created by Dorothy to deal with the death of her baby, which Dorothy knows was her own fault. In order to heal Dorothy, the Leanne personality must die. This is why everyone in the show is trying to kill Leanne. Dorothy is free if you kill Leanne. Initially, Sean indulged Dorothy's personality traits in his quest to help her, but at some point, he also became delusional. As a result of this, Sean has multiple personalities too, including Julian, Roscoe, and others. Sean indulged his wife's personality because he loves her, but eventually he wanted his baby back so badly that he started believing the lie too. When Leanne and Julian sleep together this is really Sean and Dorothy sleeping together. Sean's Julian personality is actually sleeping with Dorothy's Leanne personality. As soon as Leanne leaves, the baby turns back into a doll. This is because as soon as Leanne leaves, Dorothy realizes the truth. The delusions of Sean and Dorothy begin to fade away without Leanne present. As a result, Dorothy views everything from a delusional perspective, including the church, the homeless, and all the drama that surrounds them. Dorothy is actually being treated by Uncle George and Aunt Josephine, who are doctors. In spite of Aunt Josephine and Uncle George's efforts to help Dorothy, Dorothy sees them as crazy people for trying to kill Leanne. Dorothy will be free of her delusion once the Leanne personality dies. Sean will be freed of his delusion once Dorothy is freed from hers.
I hope this is not the case. I kind of feel that way of storytelling is a cop out and overused and too predictable. Nice theory though! I just hope you are wrong lol
Is there something up with the wine? They always make such a point of showing it, and in the first three seasons it seemed like they were all drinking constantly. They were all way too okay with Julian coming off the wagon to drink wine too.
M. Night Shyamalan alien movie the aliens were real and the wife who died in the beginning saw the future before she died. In his village people it was all a scam of people who wanted to run from tragedy. In the plant killer movie the plants were taking revenge. But the reason wasn't that clear or why the three people seemed immune. So going by his old movies I cannot tell how the story behind the story will play out. But for the most part my guess is the best answer for it all was in the beginning. That is what his movies seem to show.
I feel that the poster tells us ALOT. How Dorothy and Julian are trying to stay with Lyanne or keep Lyanne around them. While Sean is trying to bring back Dorothy. I can't wait for Dorothy to know the truth.
Don't forget that Dorothy had many children in her womb that her body killed off (probably RH factor issue). I think Dorothy did kill Jericho. Her body killed all her other babies and then exhaustion caused her to accidentally kill her only child that survived her womb. Maybe Dorothy killed her mom too. Maybe Dorothy's mental Illness causes her to inadvertently cause death. Or maybe Dorothy is being punished. Maybe something made her fall asleep the day. Something evil. Maybe someone is causing her to miscarry and fall asleep. Maybe Sean wants Dorothy to himself and is causing her miscarriages and Jericho's death. Leeanne told Julian he could never hurt anyone when he held the doll over the stair banister so Julian is probably innocent. But my guess is Dorothy might have that disease that causes her to accidentally kill her children for attention. Maybe Dorothy mom use to make Jillian and Dorothy sick for attention.
I think Dan is right that Tobe might end up dying, or at the very least, get very hurt. I really hope not tho because I think he is just so sweet and innocent and the only character that’s not messed up lol. We shall see in the next episode.
Aww Tobe. I always think of him in the first two seasons where he would just do anything ridiculous the turners asked of him and Julian just always treats him like garbage. My hope against hope is that he survives and last scene is him making mole because he had a very very bad day at work 😂
So as far as Sean being responsible for the baby’s death, how do we explain him being on gourmet gauntlet? Is it all just false narrative? I’m leaning towards Julian and frank having more involvement IF the death is different than we’ve seen
I don't see it being anyone else other than what we were shown happened ,it could be anything really but I haven't seen anything and I'm on my third rewatch ,have you?
@@mandolyn just that they’ve shown Julian calling his dad for help before anyone else. I think it’s season 3 when they show it? I’m down for a twist though! I don’t think it’s Sean, however i do want more backstory or flashbacks with him. His personality isn’t adding up there’s something fishy (no pun intended lol)
@@steel510rain3 lol I know its so odd how Dorothy is just brutal and Sean is unbelievably loyal to her I can see Julian being like that cause they're siblings.
