Zapdos is the best bird cause fire moves sucked before gen 4 change how attacks worked so Moltres was meh, and Articuno was a pain to catch. Zapdos was easy to grab and was the perfect typing to deal with half of the elite 4 in gen 1. Add on its like a Fearow but with lightning powers and you have an amazing legendary and a great electric type
Articuno is actually the best bird due to Mind Reader and Sheer Cold. Beyond cheesing the system, Zapdos is best all around. Moltres is just a better Charizard. Nothing special.
Adresadini Give Leafeon Chlorophyll, with the moveset swords dance, sunny day, and leaf blade. Give it a Brave Nature. On the first turn, Leafeon sets up sunny day so it will outspeed everything. Then the next turn it will set up swords dance. Because of its bulky defense, it should survive. Then just spam leaf blade. That, or get a smearlge to use sunny day, swords dance, and baton pass. It can start by using sunny day, follow it up by swords dance, and then baton pass to Leafeon. Swap to Leafeon, and spam physical moves. Here's another one. Give the Leafeon Leftovers with ability leaf guard. EVs being 120 hp, 252 attack, and 136 Special Defense. Give it a brave nature again with the moveset Leaf Blade, Curse, Synthesis/Baton Pass, and curse. This is a bulky set. This is epesecially fun in drought battles aswell. Leaf Blade is for STAB and X-Scissor for coverage. Synthesis is for recovery and Baton Pass is if you wanna pass on curse. These are only a few of the competitive sets. If you wanna use it in a regular play through, then give it Razor Leaf and then later Leaf blade. Give it X-Scissor and Ariel ace for coverage. The last move can be anything you want. Nature is of your choice.

Hehehe. ^_^ As a result of that battle, Rita grew to Level 23! YAY! ^_^ #SOPROUD! Irene then sent out her Seaking so I let Rita continue to play with this memed menace. Hehehe! ^_^ Well, I guess that's "Goodnight, Irene!" ^_^ After *that* battle, Rita grew to Level 24! YAY! ^_^ #TWOLEVELSINONEFIGHT! I personally never use Rare Candy because while it does raise the level by 1 it stunts the stat growth for that level. They do sell for a decent amount though so I'll usually stash them in the PC and then sell them when I stock up on stuff for the Elite Four. Also, super glad to see you using a Natu! Xatu is one of my favorite gen 2 pokemon but very few people actually ever use it, probably because you have to go a bit out of your way to get it.
