I've still got a few static addresses on my network, but am converting to DHCP Reservations assigned by MAC address instead. The benefit for me is that regardless of what OS I choose to install on a piece of hardware, as long as the NIC doesn't change, it will get the same IP address.
Maybe it depends on the DHCP server (or it's config), but I've had Servers catch different IP Addresses if the DHCP rebooted.
Can u do o video how you setup your servers and all the steps, how you asign an ip for each server, although multiple servers are on the same computer etc, it woud be interesting to watch, and i might help alot of people because there are very few server sided vids on yt
Although the server setup is more tied with port opening not so mutch with setting up the ip but it woud be a very nice video if u wanted to do that
