The brakes on my new 2019 FXLR squealed and were "grabby". Took it to the dealer three-times from 400 to 1,500 miles. Dealer kept telling me I needed to change my braking techniques. Took it to another dealer who told me the OEM brake pads caused problems I was experiencing PLUS caused excessive rotor wear. Change to Lyndall Gold+ brake pads; problems eliminated and better control of gradual braking. The Lyndall pads last about 15k miles before I replaced them. Minimum wear on rotors 15k miles.
