I took my new Haro Shift R7 out to oak mountain bike park for some test laps. So stoked on how this bike came together. Looking forward to some free riding on this weapon!
I've just received the bike a few weeks ago and I'm in agreement that this video doesn't paint an accurate picture, specifically, weight. It would have helped to keep the bike stock to show the viewers what they'll get right out of the box. But the reality is, sponsorship's pay your bills so I can't fault you for that. The stock bike weighs 36-37 lbs. I'm not a weight weenie so I can work with it and in reality. It'll help me when I jump on my XC bike again. The bike rips downhill and I love it. Uphill can be laborious at times but it just means I need to work on my cardio. Take this for what you will and I DO RECOMMEND this bike. I've had a ton of fun on it but don't expect to break personal bests on the uphills. You'll make up for on it on the downhills.
I agree, but thats why I made sure to let everyone know “this is a sample”, not production” This bike was pieced together specifically so I’d have something to trail ride on. Stoked you made it work and enjoying it.
If you are reviewing a bike you should review stock to give a true review. That is one of the new bikes I am looking at but since you changed parts off of it the review is garbage
Do not buy the 27.5/650b version, they do not make after market rims less the crappy single walls you will find on amazon. My dealer wanted to charge me over a thousand dollars to convert over to disk brakes. We're talk'n new rims, new disk brake system, and new front fork! So if you buy a Flightline, buy the disk brake version, do not let them con you into a V brake version no matter how much they sweeten the deal. Learn from my mistake, don't get screwed. I put some cheapo amazon rims on it and sold it to another sucker.

Had this bike for 3 years now. Love it. Upgraded a few things years two but first year pretty much kept it stock. No regrets. Worth it for sure!

Where did you guys get yours from? I ordered mine months ago and I was told Haro still hasn’t shipped them out yet.

That bike uses what is referred to as a “trunnion mount”, tell the boys at Rockshox to send over the goods 🤘🏽
