If your beating on the motor with dq250 I would say anything over 500lbs/ft will start to tear the 3rd or 4th gear, upgraded clutches, dsg oil cooler is a good start but quiet a few guys now run the dq381 7spd from the face-lift 7r or the daddy dq500 but that like around £5k-£8k to do fhe conversion, but the 500 on stock clutches will handle alot more power, you basically wouldn't need any upgraded clutches
It is not an RS3 engine. EA888.3 with stock intake manifold :) Please note that there is also an RS3 in this video (another Ecotune car), you might be getting the two confused.
"Look like an RS3 engine". Probably because the part you were looking at was an RS3 that has ... an RS3 engine, that was at the start of the video...in an RS3...another Ecotune built car which has nothing to do with this Golf.

what was the exhaust set up it doesn't sound like an ea888 motor anymore
Probably forged internals. Just a guess.
It's likely from cams and a lot more RPM than most EA888. If I had to assume.
