Fluid Nail Art Tutorial - Drunk Fairy Polish Jellies

Process for creating fluid nailart decal or vinyl:
- Start with a Fluid polish. I use Baroness X, White Lace.
- Add drops or pour your remaining colors. Best to limit it to 5 or under. I used the following Drunk Fairy Polish *, Saturated Jellies: Sanguine, Hesperidium, Marigold and for a bit of shimmer, I used Mabon.
- Gently scrape with a thin sheet of plastic, I used the backing from sticky nail tabs.
- Let dry for a few hours to overnight. If left too long, decal will become brittle and hard to work with.
To adhere:
- Apply a sticky base coat and let dry for a few seconds. I prefer Clear Jelly Stamper, Get Stuck! Base Coat.
- Choose an area you want to showcase on the nail. Do not need to start in the middle of vinyl.
- Gently rub sides to adhere and smooth out wrinkles.
- Add Base Coat as necessary adhere edges and lifted areas.
- Use capillary action to seal between polish decal and nail. Try to keep polish from getting on the top of decal.
- Gently pull away excess or cut with scissors. Vinyl can be cut ahead of time. Make sure to leave some excess.
- Use file to remove closer to the edge. File towards the center of nail.
- Go back with Base Coat to adhere any lifts.
- Press and hold to adhere. Gently rub to smooth.
To Finish:
- Use generous amount of top coat to provide an even surface. I used Drunk Fairy Polish, Glasswing Glaze.
- Repeat process with remaining nails. Can be done on natural nails.
