My friend that grew up in Vegas told me that people just for fun (sometime homeless because they have nothing better to do, but not always) will just intentionally go on the strip and be weird to either creep people out, entertain tourists / give them a story to take home because they know most people aren’t sober & will read into it. In any case you can never be too safe. But I definitely believe locals know people aren’t sober and get a kick out of messing with them (especially if they aren’t sober either).

OMG the driver part! My friend and I went to Vegas in July and the ride to and from the airport was just like you said! We thought it was just because he was a taxi driver because all of our Ubers were good drivers. Smoking in an unfamiliar environment will for sure have you paranoid! I’m glad you all were able to navigate out of there safely. I must say I would’ve loved to be someone standing by watching y’all trip out 😂 I’m sure people were probably “looking at y’all” because of how high y’all may have been acting. But there also a lot of weirdos in Vegas so maybe everything worth the people did happen 😂 Now y’all have a beautiful memory ❤️
