I am a fan of Aespa, Weekly, G Idle etc and I can say that Lily could be (or already is) the best 4th gen main vocalist. I mean, look at that control and stability. Her highnote comes from the diaphragm and she can transition to falsetto very smoothly.

You are on the money. People haven't seen anything yet. She hasn't even shown the best of her ability that was already in her arsenal at age 12. She can improvise like a fine jazz vocalist. I haven't seen a Kpop artist do what she could do when she was 12 yet. When singing,"It Hurts" by 2NE1 she does crazy note substitutions. Highly technical stuff that many seasoned vocalists can't do.

Definetly best 4th gen female i heard till now. We havent heard a lot of her but she already sounds way better than most female 4th idols ( no hate to the idols, these days the idols training seems to be more dance focused and the singing is mostly just okay). I dont think she is better than some 4th male idols, but she has a very nice voice

Lily is one of the best kpop female vocalist in my opinion
I think she has the best vocal agility out of all kpop main vocalist this generation
Respectfully, her agility is not that great lol. She does okay with slow tempo riffs, anything more complex and she gets sluggish.
It’s not necessarily a bad thing - she’s a Kpop vocalist not a R&B vocalist which are different styles. Her strengths are BEASTMODE mid range belting (other 4th Gen girls don’t have her level of chest voice development) and her clean supported head voice.
tbh i lOOOOVE her but her agility isn’t that great. her pitch accuracy is fine but she still has trouble w note seperation and she just isn’t as precise. ningning also isn’t the best but she definitely has cleaner note seperation to my ears or even weeeklys monday. completely redundant convo tho cuz none of them are agile singers the way for example kyungsoo is

I always feel uneasy when idol (especially if they're not the main vocalits) showcase their live singing skills, because it seems like they're really nervous and not confident showing their real voice without loud backtrack, but lily effortlessly shows this to us. This voice is what kpop needs rn, so please jype give them better song that will let them show all they have next time🙏

I’m so happy that she’s showcasing her vocals so much and with confidence, somehow I feel like idols are afraid to sing or make mistakes so they sing as little as possible or even when they sing they don’t seem to enjoy it as a singer would (which is sad bc they are supposed to love/enjoy what they do) so she is like a breath of fresh air. Also that head voice giiirrrrl😍😍 it’s really developed, we usually hear chesty mix, really light falsetto or chest voice but never that much head voice so I LOVE IT, AND THE TRANSITION FROM HEAD VOICE TO CHEST VOICE SO SMOOOOOTH 0:09 she has a similar tone to jyp’s Jimin I hope she becomes as good as Jimin and even better. She is definitely going that way

@@kristinacorteza975 Ning has sung many different songs live. Look it up. I personally think that if you want to excel in singing you go to the best company, which Lily is not in. Doesn’t mean she isn’t a good singer but technique wise SM vocalists are the best because they are given proper training pre and post debut. hopefully Lily will continue to grow vocally in the company she’s chosen.
