i love the concept of a vocal only highlight medley. This was such a treat for the ears, all groups should start doing this
Purplekiss and Mamamoo also do this for their highlight medleys. You can check those out too😊

Jiwoo was born with a voice that fits perfectly in both rapping and vocal, she's natural. She's a great dancer as well.I think her forte would be boyish choreos, she naturally stand out when covering Bgroup choreos.

Doing the highlight medley in acapella is GENIUS! It does not spoil too much but still sounds superb.
And it is a good strategy for companies without spoiling the song and singing it acapella

All the members can support and even the weakest are at tier D-/D , they're just delulu i guess , the reason why I'm supporting the statement is that even in live they're always recreating the lyrics by mixing both song n still sounds stable even though we're gonna putting haewon voice cracks aside , hard choreography n stability of their voices prove it well , it's just the matter of song , some song really holding back the girls talents instead of showing n highlights the talent equally

I love that JYP finally realized that NMIXX’s strength is their vocals. This teaser emphasized that perfectly. I hope they do more acapella covers or harmony parts like what MMM does.
PS. I will not reply to toxic people but for those with poor reading comprehension, TEASER EMPHASIZED THEIR VOCALS MORE BECAUSE IT WENT BACK TO BASIC AND DEVOID OF NMIXX SIGNATURE VFX HEAVY TEASERS. You are not distracted by the visuals and concentrate more on their voices.
What are you talking about JYP not showcasing their strength in vocals? If you are watching more of their contents and vlives, you will see that they usually do a song cover. NMIXX have been invited in some shows and will do song cover too. Recently Lily and Sullyoon recorded a song for a Kdrama OST.
@@petrichor456 they mean that jyp is showcasing it in a more public way. although shows and background music showcases their skill, making a whole EP teaser about their vocals is a lot more maimstream and can reach a larger audience. And it gives them a better reputation considering people weren't too fond of their debut following into their first single.

Jiwoo vocal was so good. I love the fact that she is the main rapper of the group but still slay the vocal area.
Exactly ! I love how all the nmixx members are vocally amazing. The dancers and rappers all can support. Jiwoo and kyujin (both considered main rappers and main dancers of the group) both support. In other groups this is uncommon, for someone who is both a rapper and dancer, with main roles, supporting. The closest I think we have in Seulgi (main dancer?), Lee know (main dancer) Supporting and in the rap section, changbin, han, giselle who can support. I can't think of anyone who is both and can support. The maknae line is super talented, and solid all rounders.

After listening to the album on repeat since it came out, this video is even better. Hearing how they handle the complex vocals and instrumentals live really shows off their talent. This album really made me fall in love with Nmixx!

I think it's safe to say that NMIXX is one of the most talented and all rounded 4th gen girl group! All of them can dance, sing, rap if they want to, and they have the visuals too! They have insane stage presence as well, can't wait to see their growth in the years to come
Need more groups like this where every member can actually sing well, and isn't just there for their dancing skills or visuals. They're called singers for a reason, amirite?

No one other than the east Asian music industries use the word "idol" this widely to refer to celebrity music performers. So the rest of the world just calls them singers even if they aren't
