Getting There:
We started our journey from Trabzon, Turkey, taking a marshrutka (minibus) from the bus station. There are departures every hour, and we left at 10:30 AM. The journey to the Georgian border at Sarp took about 3 hours.
Crossing the Border:
The marshrutka dropped us off in front of the border building. We had our passports and accommodation details ready, and proceeded inside. The Turkish border control was quick, even though there were many people. After passing through, we walked to the Georgian border control. The process was smooth, and the officer only asked a few questions before stamping our passports.
Batumi:
Batumi is a beautiful city on the Black Sea, known for its casinos, stunning architecture, and European flair. The weather in October was perfect for exploring, with cool temperatures around 12-14 degrees Celsius during the day. We stayed in the Old Town, which was a great base for walking around and exploring. If you prefer sea views, there are many hotels and apartments along the waterfront.
Tips for Budget-Friendly Travel in Batumi:
Use the Bolt app to call taxis - it's much cheaper than regular taxis and doesn't have a meter.
Have your travel documents (flight tickets, accommodation details, passport) ready when crossing the border.
Buy groceries from supermarkets - they are reasonably priced and offer a good selection of local and international products.
Try Georgian yogurt - it's delicious and very affordable!
Consider staying in the Old Town or near the waterfront for convenient access to attractions.
Google Maps works well in Batumi and can help you navigate the city.

Our Journey Continues:
We returned to Turkey from Georgia, and the border crossing was much quicker this time. There were buses waiting outside the border building to take passengers to various cities in Turkey. We bought tickets and headed to Ardesen, Rize, as we had booked a flight from Rize Airport to Izmir.
Overall, Batumi is a wonderful destination for a short break or longer vacation. The city offers a unique blend of cultures, stunning scenery, and delicious food. With a little planning, you can easily enjoy Batu

ทำไมซื้อตั๋วเครื่องบินได้ถูกจังค่ะ
ซื้อตั๋วแบบแยกครับ ไม่ได้ซื้อไปกลับ ขากลับอีกสายการบิน(ขากลับจากอิสตันบูล) 4คน ต้องพยายามหาประหยัดสุดๆ ตั๋วนี่จองล่วงหน้า 4-5 เดือนครับ

สวัสดีค่ะ พอจะแชร์เรื่องโรงแรมที่พักที่ Trabzon และการจองบัสไป Sarp ให้หน่อยได้มั้ยคะ
ตอนนั้น รร.ที่ Trabzon พี่จองในอโกด้า แต่ตอนนี้ไม่เห็นในApp ไม่รู้ปรับปรุงรึเปล่า ถ้าแวะนอนแนะนำในตลาดโซนใกล้ๆ Trabzon square เพราะหา Taxi ง่าย แต่ถ้าแวะเที่ยว Trabzon มีที่เที่ยวน่าสนใจที่ไม่ได้ไปจะอยู่ริมทะเลและในหุบเขาแนวรีสอร์ท ส่วนรถไปด่านไปซื้อได้ที่สถานนีขนส่งของTrabzon จะเป็นรถตู้ใหญ่ นั่งได้ประมาณ15 คน ออกทุกชั่วโมงมีทุกวัน นั่งราว 3 ชม.โชคดีคุยกับ พนักงานที่ รร.เค้าโทรจัดการให้มีรถมารับฟรีใจดีมาก แล้วส่งที่สถานี เราเข้าไปซื้อเองได้เลย บอกว่าจะไป Sarp ส่วนขากลับเข้าตุรกี เดินออกมาจากอาคารเดินไปทางขวาจะมีรถจอดรอเยอะ บอกเค้าเราจะไปเมืองไหนเค้าจะแนะให้ครับ
