Respect from a lifelong Faces and Rod Stewart fan, and guitarist in continuous training, thank you, great job Kevin!! ( & Maggie May💚)👍🙏🎸
Our pleasure!
I love this song and I love your tutorials. Picking up a guitar in my mid-forties and feeling petrified to attempt anything. But you really explain everything so well and I'm really going to have a good go at this, because I can't believe its only those 2 chords, your wife is right, it's the strumming pattern that really makes this song. Thank you both. ❤
You are welcome. Thanks for your support! Stick with it, you will be rewarded.
Really good tips here on this simple but difficult to play song. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
This is an awesome lesson. Thanks!
I'm hoping one day I find or someone does a lesson on the solo on the last minute of the song!
You are welcome. Thanks for watching.
I believe a second guitar is capoed at 7th fret. He plays a G chord then Am7. You have a great baritone voice.
Thanks so much!
Great lesson, thanks. I love your dog . My cat is also named Maggie May, and her sister is Ellie May!
Thanks for watching!
Lol, love the interaction between you and the Mrs.

I love lessons like this that incorporate a melody line with strumming. Thanks for this one! Great tune. Gotta dig out my Faces LPs.
This one is a lot of fun. Good stuff with the melody and strumming. :)
People asking me if I sing and I reply yes, I shouldn’t but I do

Cool lesson Kevin ,,, one of my lady's favorites ! Taking her to see Rod this summer ... Not sure if I can tackle this one just yet ,, but would be fun to surprise her .... Thanks again
Happy to help! Would love to see Rod! Take it slow and learn it in steps. Have fun!
@Relax and Learn Guitar Will do ! It's a Birthday present for her (next month) ,,it's a surprise 😉
Dan Lovett. You may already know this. I hope you and your lady will not be disappointed, but Rod Stewart did not sing "Ooh La La" - the tltle track of the album. Rod was not entirely happy with this Faces album and didn't even show up for some of the recording sessions. So The Faces guitarist Ronnie Wood (now with The Rolling Stones) sang lead vocal on this song. Maybe Rod includes it in his current live set/repertoire....? You and yours stay safe and well.
Great lesson as usual. Can you do a Ryan Adams song? Any would be great. The easier the better?
Great suggestion!
Very good lesson. If I remember correctly, Ron Wood wrote and sang Faces original version of Ooh La La, not Rod Stewart.
Thanks! Yep. You are correct. A rare one where he sang :)
Meant to add - however, it's a tune most associated with Rod Stewart. @@Relaxandlearnguitar
