- The bail application of Pastor Timothy Omotoso continues in the Port Elizabeth High Court today. In a letter presented to court, it came to light that the first state witness, Cheryl Zondi had asked for the previous state prosecutor in the case, Advocate Ishmat Cerfontein, to be removed.
The letter is part of new facts Omotoso's defence brought to court in his bid to be released on bail.
The televangelist pastor has been in jail for more than three years.
He's facing more than 90 sex-related charges.

I'm finding him wrong based on his manner... the judge's points are very clear but Mr Price is somehow tempering with the judges emotions in a deliberate way.... we know judges are suppose to be rational but this isn't a license for lawyers to be rivals with them(judges)

If this judge doesn't see that, we will see the 3rd judge being appointed...The court should find the legal way to deal with that before we see 5th judge...it is their strategy, not racism...they know it is difficult to defend the real case,.....the court should seat down and strategize too and stop being emotional, apply the rules against the rude counsel,EFF mostly is using same tactics in parliament ..it has being working for them

I have been following proceedings and have noticed that this judge is very humble,patient and appears to be a man of justice.In my view he wanted to start on a clean slate and do what is right according to the law on this issue.I do feel that it is time they gave Omotoso bail because it is reasonable but this lawyer doesnt appear to be a wise man nor is he treating the judge with respect.I do not understand why he chose to be rude,we are all watching closely and i was biased towards that lawyer but it appears he is patronising the judge hopefully not based on race.He must represent his client well
