I had forgotten to video some steps so you will see that I changed fabrics. I started videoing again when I started the second one since I was making two anyway.
Straps are at the 13:42 section of the video. Cut three 2 inch wide strips. Sew them end to end. You can shorten them at the end if you like.
I do not know if the person that's doing these instructions is going to see this comment. You, or she is a wonderful, great, instructor, or teacher on how to make a item. Or making the apron you are great at explaining and showing step-by-step. I do wish more people would explain and show the way that you have just done on making this apron. Thank You So Much!
👍👍👍 🥰 🐾
You’re so sweet! Thank you!!
I want to say thank you for sharing this project! You are a@ great teacher! I'm not an absolute begginer but not a professional, but your explanations are very clear for me and make me feel like "ok, that's easy" 😊 All the best and Good bless you! I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil😮.
Thank you for your sweet comment!!
Thank you! Clear, concise, no music , so I enjoyed watching your work!😊
Love no music
Me, too. Can be SO distracting and annoying. Thanks! Happy New Year!
Thanks! I’m not sure I’ve even heard a video with music too. It’d be hard to hear the instructions. Happy New Year to you all!
Likewise! Lots of times I'll skip through to keep from listening to music!
This is the simplest process I’ve ever seen. The way the straps are done make it easily adjustable for anyone. That is a plus for those who sew to sell.
First time watching, thank you so much, and thank you for not playing any music.🥰
Awesome!! You're a good teacher!! I bought a new sewing machine 3 years ago and it's still in the box!! I now want to get it open and use it. I love your apron!! God bless you and your channel!!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you want to get it out of the box now! I hope you do and I hope you have fun with it! Thanks again and God bless you as well! 😁
Love this easy apron pattern! You are a wonderful teacher - appreciate your precise directions and camera work! Thank you so much!
Thank you!! Thank you for watching and for the sweet comment!!
Fff Ggg❤😂😢😢
The EASY adjustability of the neck placement is so clever. Been looking for this kind of solution for a long time. Thank you for sharing, for excellent demo.
Thank you!!
I can’t wait to make these aprons as gifts! You’re instructions are so easy to follow. Thank you!🤗
Thank you!!
I’m going to a craft class tomorrow and they recommended wearing an apron. I didn’t have on……..I do now!,, The easiest loveliest apron I’ve ever made and demonstrated by a lady with the loveliest voice. Thank you so much. 14:19
Thank you so much! And I’m so glad you made it!!
You made this apron so much easier than the one that I made, I wish that I had found you 1st. Also the fabric is just beautiful! I love it.
I appreciate the pattern, thank you. I need an apron so I will make this very soon. I like the simplicity of the pattern which does not. require an actual pattern and the economy of fabric use. It is also attractive and infinitely adaptable to different bodies. So great!
Love it! Some Christmas magic happened. Santa's turned into mistletoe kisses...
Hahahaha I made two and put the beginning of the second on instead of the first by mistake. Oops
I like the snowflake fabric better
I thought I was loosing it lol. Who stole Santa’s heads ?
@@beverlyosborn5240 I made two. 🤣
What a neat apron! I’m going to pin this and make a Mama/Daughter pair for my granddaughters and a toddler size for my great granddaughters! It will be a perfect Mother’s Day gift!
That's a great idea!
Really like the simplicity of this apron. Thanks so much for sharing. 😉
I have been looking for a really simple apron pattern like this. This is wonderful !!! Two rectangles . So easy . Thank you thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you! Last year I made hot pad holders as gifts. This year will be aprons! Easiest pattern I've seen.
Great demonstration! I like the simpleness and adjustability of this pattern. I decided to sew these and pair them with mason jar meals for Christmas gifts. Thank you for sharing such a great pattern! (PS I’m a Made-It; wish I lived closer to come visit you and Maymay!)
Great idea! They will love it!!! And…you could always move! 😉
I can’t move but I may come for a visit! Thanks again!@@sewcharmingquiltshop
Hahaha well a visit would be good
Great apron, so simple. I love to wear an apron when cooking (my mom and grandmother always did)😊 simple enough that I can have “seasonal” aprons. Than you.
Great idea!
Great apron, enjoyed your way of explaining how you sewed it together, very clear instructions.
Thank you!!
Just watch your channel for the first time and I love the apron you made so simple and I have been looking for something like 5his to make thank you
WOW WOW WOW, I can not wait to try this! I cook all the time and love my aprons, but i am a larger lady and none fit right, they are just pretty. I think I can actually make this! Thank you! I'll have to pause your video about 100 times, but that's ok.
You taught sooo nicely 😊 really as easy as 1 2 3😊
Thank you!!
Excellent apron! Instructions are very clear & so easy to make! I'd like to make some for our two great granddaughters and one for our great grandson. In kindergarten. And make one for myself!💕😊💕
Great idea! They would love it!
You have the best laugh! These will make wonderful gifts! Thank you for posting this!
Thank you! You are sweet! You made my day.
You are magic
First was Christmas fabric, and in the next frame, it turned into springtime fabric!! Lovr it!
Great pattern. So east!
First was santa claus fabric then she must have changed her mind but it was still Christmas fabric, if you read the writing on it there was deck the halls, holly jolly, merry and bright and several others...very cute. I would love to know where she got it.
Yes I made two and forgot to video part of the Santa heads one so finished videoing with the second one. I was making the Santa one for me and the other my daughter picked out the fabrics. They were for Christmas event. 😊
We have the fabric in our quilt shop. Sewcharmingquiltshop.com
Snowflakes wasn't it with writing on it..
@karenwarvi5317 yes. It’s all Christmas fabric. In the description it tells why the fabric changed. I forgot to video part of the first apron so finished with the second set of apron fabrics.
This pattern is a keeper. Thanks!

How much fabric would it take for a child’s? I’m thinking 1/2 yard?
Oh my goodness, thank you for the simple instructions
Thank you so much for sharing this cute little apron! I’m already thinking of sizing it down to make matching mother/daughter aprons !! ❤️
For kid size use a fat quarter and make it the same way
What age group would fit that ? It would be pretty small ! 😊
Loved it 😊 going to make one today only
❤

You tell us exactly what you do and options!!! You are real, like we could come over have tea and make something. Have you done a microwave bowl holder? Thank you. I'm starting to downsize my "stash" certainly I must have one yard cuts ,to use for this? Thinking ahead for Christmas gifts!!!!

Thank you for your sweet comment!
Easy peacy I think I will make some thank you ❤
Beautiful!!😍
Great simple apron idea! Have you tried using bias tape makers for the straps? They come in sets from very small to very large. Once you pull the fabric thru, all you do is follow up with your iron and you are through. Very easy.
Yes but I didn’t use them on this because everyone doesn’t have them. But they work perfectly!
Love the apron
Wow incredibly simple! Thank you so much
I love this tutorial!
This is a great one to teach some one basic sewing skills.
Thank you for sharing easy pattern and like it because it doubled.😊
