I have been to many countries and cities, but there is truely something special about these people in Korea. They are calm, kind, polite, extremely smart, yet funny, bit crazy at night (in a good way), and romantic. The culture, food, and the people makes this country great. It’s my favourite country of all for sure!!

Seoul is as wealthy as Tokyo but it's more vibrant and lacks the extreme conformist social rules you must adhere everywhere you go. It's so strange, Japan has created awesome entertainment and built amazing wealth for themselves but they always seem repressed. That is why so many Japanese high school girls come to Korea and have the time of their lives. I have a Japanese friend as she was so fascinated by the fact that you don't have to remain ultra quiet on the public transit. Koreans are polite and quiet but the Japanese take that to the next level.

In Seoul..I recommend a bicycle riding of the Han river..You can rent a bicycle easily in the Ttukseom resort station by subway (line 7)..

I lived in Seoul, Korea for 2&1/2 years from 2016 to 2018, and it was the BEST time of my life i swear. Korea is such a beautiful, fun, vibrant, lively country to a point where I got so depressed when I came back to US. My 2&1/2 years life in Seoul equals to 10 years in US. Life in US feels so boring compared to that of Korea. Korea is a peninsula surrounded by oceans all around and 70% of their land is beautiful mountains so there are lots of fresh seafood and variety of different fresh vegetables. Korean soils are so nutritious that almost all fruits are much more declious than those in US. For example, if you taste Korean grapes, apples, tangerines, or watermelons, you will never find American fruit tasty😭
South Korea is also much more advanced in utilizing technology into their every day life. If any American thinks US is the best in the world, I recommend you to go to Seoul and taste the life outside US. You will have a different view then.
Koreans are super friendly and kind, especially to foreigners who are lost in the middle of the streets, and they are the most workaholics I've ever seen but also party animals. They love partying and they know how to party. When I say they know how to party, I mean it. They can stay up all night drinking, singing, and partying, and can go to work on time the next day lol. I dont know what kind of drugs they eat but they DO have staminas when they party. Koreans look a bit serious or cold at first but once you become their friends, they will take care of you from head to toe. They are one of the most warmhearted, kind people I've ever met. Koreans are smart, well-educated, diligent, and hard working people. On a side note, no one is fat in Korea. I was probably the fattest girl walking on the street, which was a little bit depressing😅😂 but yeah Koreans seem to take very good care of their looks and fashions in general.
I miss Korea and my life in Seoul so much. Seoul has souls. As soon as Covid 19 is resolved, I will definitely visit Seoul.

I love Korea ! Nice , polite, beautiful people. Also high tech nation. Safest Country in the World. You can walk 3 in the morning at night no problem. If you leave laptop & Cellular phone in any cafe or restaurants for 5 hours nobody take. . Honest people and amazing.

I've lived in many countries (US, UK, Japan) but no country is better than Seoul, Korea.
Very safe (I can leave my laptop and backpack on the table at the coffee shop, come back an hour later it is still there)
Convenient (I order anything through an app called Coupang, it arrives soon as few hours)
People are nice, good looking, I enjoy Healthy Korean food.
Very high-tech, fast wifi everywhere.

Many say Tokyo or Beijing, Shanghai is better than Seoul but I think not. I mean, it could be true that Tokyo or Cities in China are more famous than Seoul, but still Seoul has such a fabulous culture and their own unique characteristics. I think Korea is developing very fast, as much as Seoul is.

HK may be the best known place, but Seoul is the average standard of living or infrastructure is much better than HK. Also the weather is very hot and humid in Hong Kong. A foreigner who has experienced both places will say that Seoul is better. Of course, Hong Kong's night view is beautiful.

Seoul is a good place to visit or travel!
The tranportation systems of Seoul is the most efficiency in the world! (such as Seoul subway systems which is comprised of 21 lines with about 1,100 km length! and all lines provide English announcement!)
People in seoul are so kind and friendly! If you visit Seoul, you can not only visit old palaces or architectures but also feel nature with clean air because Seoul is surrounded by mountains and also many mountains are located middle of Seoul.
It's because Joseon dynasty(1392~1910) chose the caplital as a seoul for defencing against enemies! They also made long walls for defencing their capital!
If you visit Seoul, you can enjoy modern city, fantastic view, nature and tradition!
For these reasons i think Seoul has a value of you guys visiting!
