- Icy Breeze air cooler Honest Review . This little portable A.C. unit that is also a great cooler . Mine is the V2 version with detachable battery . The secret behind the Icybreeze is an innovative design that sends water through a heat exchanger in the lid. Fresh air is drawn from hidden vents in the top of the cooler, pulled across the exchanger, and chilled down to 35 degrees below the initial temperature. *Works so well **Fastly.Cool** that it only requires daytime operation until high temp and humidity are overnight. It is difficult to get to side filters, but back is easily accessible.*

Might could use a solar battery maintainer… harbor freight has some of those… not sure how powerful they are
Plug it in to a Jackery and plug solar panels into the Jackery. Jacker runs the Icy Breeze and the solar panels charge the Jackery. That's what I do!!
I LOVE YOU JOE! We love to sail our small (19') boat for extended periods, but the wife can't take the heat. This will easily cool the interior, and can run off the 2 - 240 amp hour house batteries. She watched the video and told me order one today!
It seriously takes a lotta the sting outta the heat , long as you have power and ice you have some relief

Great review my friend just got minds yesterday one of my trucks ac not working so I brought this unit so far I like it but iam going to buy Extension hose so the air can reach to the front of my Expedition truck but I recommend if your air in your car stop working this is a good back up until you get your ac rolling again 👍🏿👍🏿

I love the Texas accent. I live in San Antonio and I know exactly what you're talking about regarding the high heat and humidity. It's downright oppressive. This looks like a device that could really reduce the misery factor. I'm a musician and I get gigs outside fairly often and I end up all sweaty on stage when the temps are high... IOW, about 9 months out of the year. This thing looks like a life saver to me. I'll be buying one soon.

I have one and it's great. The air is cold. The temperature of the air coming out is below 30 degrees. The only thing is that it has to be pointing directly at you. I'm thinking about getting a tower fan blower and concentrating the cold air from icybreeze into the air intake of the fan so it will blow widespread COLD air. The trick is keeping warm air from also going into the air intake of the fan. A fan only blows whatever the temperature of the air is. This is what I have to figure out. I want to turn the fan into a true cold air conditioner. I use icybreeze at work during the summer and I move around from time to time so I can't always stand in front of the hose. As long as I can filter out the warm air, the fan blower will feel like a freaking window ac unit. It gets over 90 degrees in the shop during the summer and I need relief lol
Yeah man , we use a battery powered fan in our truck bed camper to circulate air . And even down at the coast with 90% humidity it works like a charm

Love your honest review. I've watched a lot of them on this unit, but after yours I was online ordering one for my July camping trip. I'm hoping to keep my daughter with autism more comfortable during the day or night while camping at the beach. I ordered mine w/the battery plus an extra battery and the AC adapter, which I plan to use via my inverter-battery. Great job.
It really is a super nice option for camping We use ours when we're out and we camp in the back of a long bed pickup with a camper on top of it and if you have some extra ice to put on hand and plug this in to a good power source it'll keep you cool all through the night it is super super nice
@@CyclopsJoeVideos I plan on freezing several milk jugs full of water as well as having a large cooler filled with ice. I own a restaurant, So the ice is readily available for me to stock up and I have a walk-in freezer to freeze and hold multiple milk jug gallons for ice blocks.

It's crazy that they basically took a cooler that you can buy at any store, added a CPU waterblock fan but runs it in reverse and a shop vac. Good for them !
They really need to make a solar powered one. Solar panels are getting more efficient and cheaper to make.

I use an assortment of ice packs in mine, the hard shell packs lay flat in the bottom, soft shell packs lined together in a row like a radiator in the direction of the air flow, and in between each soft shell is those is a cheap medical grade ice pack with the square cut outs. I get about 5-6 hours run time before the air temp starts degrades. I use it in an older ford Ranger extended cab during the worst of summer.

Gott Damn Joe, you did hit on a pretty good piece of equipment here! There would be numerous uses for a cooler like this, and it's made in the good ole USA! Warranty of 1 year from date of purchase, and the battery has a 90 day Warranty! Not bad!

All you need is one of those popup hunting blinds, and put the cooler inside. It will trap the cold air around you while on the range. Just make sure the range would be okay with something like that. :)

I’m considering and researching one for my small cuddy cabin (24ft ) boat so curious if it would cool the cabin at all during a nice sleeping out on the boat. Very nervous about using our drop in AC unit and a suit case generator w carbon monoxide that could kill us in our sleep!
Yeah man , we use this in a pickup bed camper ...Worried about carbon monoxide is the reason we use this .

I recently bought one, and they were offering a free 10AH battery with the IcyBreeze. I wanted one, and was ready to pay the $100 for the battery. When I realized I could get the battery for free, I went ahead and made the purchase. I was wondering how long the offer would last before it went away, and supposedly today is the last day of the offer. If you are on the fence like I was, take advantage of the free battery.

Battery doesn't last 6 hours. We went on a 3 hour trip with a full battery and it was dead by the time trip was over. The connection for the plug in it is a little big and have to juggle to find electrical connection. We have used battery and plug it in. Other then that, it blows cold.

I'm manufacturing a liquid nitrogen insert, that will be much longer lasting than ice. I'm also working on a lightweight barrel mount for the cooler.

We just bought one! My husband loves it out on the back porch.
Now we probably aren’t using it like other people are. Most people are just using it at the beach or a ball game or something. We got it for the back porch where my husband likes to sit and smoke cigarettes (he was constantly smoking in the car to stay cool.)
The only con I’m seeing right now is having to disconnect the wall plug every time we aren’t using it to avoid long term exposure to the heat which would be several times a day as my husband is going in and out of the house to smoke…

All you'll need is an adjustable suit made out vacuum cleaner bag material, and hook up the hose to the suit. Should keep you cool. if the vents come out at the neck, they can blow on your face. if you make millions from my idea, i only want an honorable mention..
