    Excellent video Brian on an effective body alignment routine. I am always particular about ball position and target area. I like your idea of paying attention to the right shoulder being pushed back of the left shoulder at address. Because I have an in to out club path, this works fine for me as long as the ball position is back a little. I try to hit draws more than power fades! As Usual Brian, Well Done!!!

      As usual you are all over it John.
      Ball position is critical and you have worked it out well.
      Fades slightly forward and draws slightly back.
      Have a great week.

    Thanks Brian, in my opinion this is the most important part of the swing. I'd heard that more than 80% of our errors come from the alignment of the shoulders, and this has always proved true!
    Merci Brian bonne journée et bon golf.

      C'est tout à fait vrai, Marc. Les golfeurs viennent me voir pour des cours de swing de golf en s'attendant à ce que je modifie leur swing de golf.

    Great video with superb views. As a fader of the ball I can totally relate to all of the faults shown in the lesson.
    Hopefully I can try the tips on.Tuesday. A WWBD moment will occur on the first tee when the driver is needed.

    Very good information brian. You nailed it. I tend to error with pull to pull draw and I know I tend to have open shoulders but never fix it. Occasionally I will force them right but it feels extremely closed.

    Hi Brian, thank you for this reminder video. I am fortuately enough to able to shape my shots from fade, drive and even slices. However, am I correct that a big fade does lost out a lot in distance just like a slice ? By the way, I always like your teaching method and it is very easy to understand. Thank you once again.

    Hi Brain, Thank you for this reminder video on alignment. I am fortunately enough to able to shape my shots from fade, draw and slice. However, am I correct to say that a big fade as shown does lose out all of distance ? By the way, I always like your teaching method as it is always easy to understand. Thank you once again 🙂

    • @fitzygolfpro
      @fitzygolfpro  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In the main big fades don’t go as far as a draw. It’s due to the higher side spin rate.
      But it’s not all about distance.

    How does hip alignment fit in with this? What if your hips were aligned left but feet and shoulders were square?

    • @fitzygolfpro
      @fitzygolfpro  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You will notice that as you move your shoulders your hips will also move.
      Although not connected physically. If one moves the other follows. Your feet hips and shoulders should be aligned with each other.
      Thanks fir the question Dan.

    The shoulders. Yes. A problem. I forget which PGA Pro does this, but to align his shoulders properly, he actually addresses the ball around 6-12" behind it, so as to make his shoulders square. I've tried this. It's sort of helpful. But it takes a bit for it to not "feel funny".

    • @fitzygolfpro
      @fitzygolfpro  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s one way of doing it and it does work for some people. However some people just keep drop kicking or hitting chunky shots.
      It’s worth giving a go.
      Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.

    For a fade the face has to be open to the path but closed to the target. I had a Pro 30 years ago teaching me and he didn't know that.

      I have found when working with clients facing similar issues as you describe.
      By focussing on your club face angle at impact more the path improves without thinking about it. It’s uncanny.
      Best of luck with your golf.

    I see this so often when my playing partners are putting, the shoulders dont match their feet....they then have that stance for their full shots.
